We booked deluxe, thought it would be a great spot by paying almost double! Escorted at seats says its a box? But our backs facing the stage! Not so happy about it. We requested to seat at the royal flat form instead, thank you our request granted. Show was average, location is good, activities average, food terrible! Very salty! Photos souvenir was good. A must try for experience I guess, part of holiday.

Go here first, that way you can become O hanas very first thing. Stepping on the bus ride to go to the Luau you become FAMILY! We are cousins, all of us. We just happened to be the most beautiful cousins. Now cousin Katie, she was our guide and she was a hoot. She loves to entertain and you can tell that immediately, because she gets all of us involved. It really doesn't take that long, well if you are counting in Hawaiian minutes. haha Once arriving there, you are greeted with a lei and a mai tai. They were delicious.
They allow for you to have about 2 hours of activity time where you can get a tattoo, learn to make leis, headbands, learn to spear, are to watch a show on fishing which includes some of the guest. Funny. There is never a dull moment.
When the conch shells are blown it is time to watch the unveiling of the pig and to sit down for dinner. If you get the VIP, more expensive, they will serve you other wise it is a buffet line. The food was good, nothing to write home about. They had a floor show which was really good. They sang some pretty songs and did the hula, and also a fire dancer.
I didn't bring a jacket, they suggest you do, but I thought it felt wonderful to be a little cool after the hot and humid day.
This is a really great place to start your fun on the Island.

We traveled by bus to and from Paradise Cove and had a great night of entertainment. The food was good, the music and dancing were great, and the other activities before dinner were all good fun. Definitely consider doing this. We had a party of 9 adults, and everyone enjoyed this Polynesian experience.

The most excellent part of this luau are the tour guides. They are funny and accommodating and set the party tone for your Hawaiian vacation. Our tour guide, Cousin Katie, sang to us, told us jokes, and gave us insight to the Hawaiian culture. They pick you up from your hotel and deliver you to a huge luau park. "We'll be there in 10 Hawaiian minutes" :) 30 minutes later you arrive, but you don't mind the traffic because your being entertained. Once you arrive, you're greeted with a mai tai which is tasty, refreshing and extremely alcoholic. From there, there have activities such as the Hukilau, the pig roast, short outrigger lessons in a secluded cove, braiding headbands and making flower leas. The cost includes a buffet dinner and a Hawaiian floor show. Food is not that great. As it is in the evening bring a jacket or shawl and umbrella because dinner is served outside and it gets cold.

A must do- treat yourself!

I am glad I chose this Luau...greeted with a Mia Tia..right on the beach & we took part in the games & had a blast (I almost beat my 2 sons at spear throwing). The guy that climbed the tree & showered us with flowers was awesome. The meal was good & entertainment was wonderful...although at one point they ask all couples to stand & dance a slow song which caused us & the ones seated to miss the beautiful girl that was dancing. But still, the night was perfect with the moon shining..just couldn't have been better for our family!
