“MAJOR DISAPPOINTMENT”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 25, 2013

Ko Olina marina used to be the "jewel" of west Oahu (when it was managed by Almar). Whoever manages it now needs a refresher course in hospitality. The unpleasant sow who now operates the marina office has no idea of "customer service"--she's all about "self service".

Bathrooms were filthy. IMAGINE THIS: a marina that can host 500 boats has a MEN'S RESTROOM with ONE TOILET. ONE TOILET!!!!!

Guest dock rates are OUTRAGEOUS. We paid $2.50 a foot for A DOWNWIND SLIP.

FUEL DOCK: POSTED PRICE: $4.25 per gallon, but they REALLY CHARGED $4.65 per gallon.

"Convenience Store" WAY OVERPRICED even for Oahu.

What a disgrace. Where did they learn how to run a marina? DLNR????

“Enjoyable”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 14, 2013

I love the different lagoon choices and the ocean view. The sunset between the coconut trees made for a beautiful photo op for our family picture, looked like a studio photo. The lagoons were clean and fun for the kids. The restrooms were kept up and surprisingly stocked even at the end of the day! Lots of staff available and so friendly. Mahalo for this wonderful family spot and at no cost! Loved it! We will be back....

“Quiet and Kid Friendly”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 1, 2013

Lagoon #4 fun in water for little kids as there are no big waves. Crystal water, great for wading and snorkeling. Be careful with sharp corals as the water is not that deep when snorkeling. Great views. Clean public restroom

“Got off to a bad start at slow and unorganized check-in but didn't hold it against em”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 20, 2013

Got off to a bad start at slow and unorganized check-in but didn't hold it against em.. Once on board with the "no worries" friendly attitude I quickly got over the fiasco at check-in and thoroughly enjoyed myself, the boat, the staff , the sea life and the food they prepared on board for us.. The Ko'Olina property and Marina are beautifully landscaped which started the trip to paradise by water off to a great start and the captain's little coves he took us to on the crystal blue water was just what my eyes head and heart needed to see and being enveloped by water was what my body needed. I traveled with a bunch of friend man of whom were non swimmers and the crew was great at comforting them and showing them exactly what to do to feel safe in the water and to trust the life vest and snorkel to hearts content to see life under the sea.... In the future I would book and pay .. On line... And it would be excellent experience. (What was the fiasco at check in you wonder.. either under staffed or poor staffing for large group slow with those ahead of us in line; and our large party and multiple car validations seemed to confuse the matter ... there was supposed to be 11 of us thank goodness it ended up being only 9 as the cashier would have imploded to her defense there were three ladies and somehow the other two disappeared on her .... And she couldn't be in 3 places at once)
