Live music, relaxing ambience. I enjoy the pumpkin ravioli, truffle fries and the pizza whenever I go. We also usually START (YES, START) with one of their delicious pies and sit by the waterfall.

“Monkeypod unique and yummy!”

Banana and coconut pie is the best! Lovely restaurant, nice patio, fresh, local food, and live music. The only thing we did not like was the singer, Erin, that night. She sang great songs but her voice was very annoying!

“Spectacular Meal!”
Reviewed June 19, 2014

We decided to grab dinner here before we headed to the airport to leave. Monkeypod ended up being the perfect choice. We arrived during Happy Hour and our server Oi was so friendly and helpful. The drinks were top notch (try the Na Ka Oi) and the food was amazing. I am still dreaming of the seared ahi with jalapeno mashed potatoes! My husband had the coconut stew and it was fantastic also. We have actually had dinner at the original Monkeypod in Maui and weren't overly impressed, so I was not sure if we would like the one in Ko Olina, but I am so glad we gave this one a try!

“Great food, average service.”
Reviewed June 19, 2014

We went to Monkeypod on a recent Saturday night. We had an 8:30 reservation and were called day of and told that if we were more than 15 minutes late we would lose our table. We arrived 10 minutes early and were seated 25 minutes late. Thanks for the warning Monkeypod. Our server was likeable (Liz) but clearly forgot to put our drink order in. We had nothing but sodas and iced teas. We could see the bar and it was dead, then she frantically ran to the bar and grabbed our drinks (25 minutes after ordered and after a request to her trainee (james) who was great.) The food was really good, which was a nice surprise after the spotty service, we had almost given up. I would suggest going earlier in the night or on an off night. Hopefully the service would be more focused/ Location is convenient (across the street from Aulani and Marriot KoOlina) and the are has some fun little shops. Check it out and hope for a good server.

“New to us.”

We hadn't been to the Monkeypod Kitchen on our prior island visits so we gave it a try. The pies are wonderful. Our meals were very good. The atmosphere is unique and has outdoor seating. The drinks were supreme!
