First time in Kapolei Denny's, I was amazed how busy it was being new on the block. Mixture of islanders and visitors from other states. We were greeted quickly to a table. We waited 8 minute to order our drinks. Being that my son went there before and experience the long wait, we immediately asked to go to put an order of blueberry pancakes in for my two year old grandson who was really hungry. Service was great once we got our food after 45 minutes. Notice the waitress gets really busy. Having one waitress just filling up drinks, water, coffee from one end to the other could have higher customer service rating, it also helps the waitress to give more time to recognized what is needed on the table, we were short a set of utensils, didn't realize it until after 45 minutes waiting for the food. Definitely, adding cooks and food prep would be the greatest suggestion made to help speed up the service, 45 minutes is a long time. Bus boy was helpful when I asked for napkins and recognized our table needed wiping which he took the initiated to clean it up. That was nice of him. Besides the long wait I would come back again hoping to get our food in a quicker manner. The food was good. Mahalo!
