Owner description: Wet ‘n’ Wild Hawaii is Hawaii’s biggest ‘n’ best water park and #1 family attraction. Located in Oahu’s “Second City” of Kapolei, the park features more than 25 exhilarating attractions for families and thrill seekers alike. Adrenaline addicts can enjoy slides like Shaka –plunging guests down a 36 foot drop almost vertically; or Tornado, which catapults guests through a swirling 45-foot funnel. The park also features tamer attractions like Water World Playground, an interactive children’s area and Hawaiian Waters, a 400,000-gallon wave pool.

Wet n Wild Hawaii is a fun day out for the whole family but it is certainly not good value for money when you consider the additional expenses and the poor state of the park facilities.

--Variety of waterslides, with options for all people of ages (my kids were 6 and 3 and still found enough rides)

--Change rooms look like they were built in 1980 and last cleaned then (they are disgusting and in a very poor state of repair)
--Appalling choice of food, particularly for those looking for healthier options, i.e. not a burger, fries or pizza. Outside food & drink is not allowed to be brought into the park, meaning that you are forced to buy from the limited choices on offer
--Total cost can be expensive once you add the the following:
(a) Transportation out to Wet n Wild (which is about 45mins drive from Waikiki)
(b) Parking fee ($7)
(c) Locker rental fee ($13)
(d) Tube rental ($12)
(e) Rides not included in entrance fee - certain rides are additional cost (i.e. Flowrider)
(f) Expensive food & beverages (outside food & drink is not allowed to be brought into the park)

We went to the water park on Saturday Labor day weekend. You should check the website before hand because they were closed on Sunday the day we were planing on going. The wait time for the rides weren't to bad (10-15min). Most of the rides were open but they close it for an hour or so during the day. The food line was disappointing, 50 min for two chesse burgers meals($10.99). All in all it was a great day and my 5yo twins had a blast. (invest in a $8 water proof carrier for your pocket camera found @ the gift shop, they don't check bags for outside food and drinks)

My 10 year old saw an ad for this place and declared that was what she wanted to do while Dad went to Pearl Harbor. Certainly there are water parks that don't require a 14 hour trans-Pacific trek to enjoy, but I didn't feel like arguing. Overall, we had a lot of fun here. When we first arrived we waited about 10 min. in a line and then they closed that attraction to 'rotate' staff with another slide. It was unclear what was going on, and we were unsure where to go, but after that, we didn't have any problems and wait times weren't too long. I suggest eating a hearty breakfast, coming here for a few hours, maybe breaking for ice cream or something, and eating again after you leave. Lines for food at mid-day were ridiculous and I didn't get close enough to see the prices. There are coupons for $10 off on local soda cans. Highlights were the wave pool, Tornado, and Flyin' Hawaiian.

Just spent the day at the park with family aged 8-62. The variety and levels of slides and pools offered gives an opportunity for everyone to have fun, choosing to go solo or all together
While the price of admission may seem high, once you get inside and start slip slidding away you feel like it was all worth it. Everyone there is there to have a good time. While no outside food is allowed in the park, you can go back out to the parking lot and have a tailgate picnic. Be sure to visit the website for onlline deals.

The waterpark has amazing rides for all ages and adventure levels. I and my kids had a great day. My only complaint in honesty (besides the outrageous food prices of parks these days) is that there were too few tubes/rafts available for the rides. The waiting just to get a tube was very lengthy. Also they rotate rides every half hour so the wait increases because you only have half the major rides open at any one time. I know staff cost money and you're a captive audience but we came to play in the water not wait for lines over 3/4 of our time.
