Very good food at a reasonable price. Great service. We particularly enjoyed the setting of the restaurant.

We arrived late from our flight, and the restaurant was to close soon, but the staff was welcoming and friendly. The service prompt, the food delicious, the cocktails welcome after a long flight from the East Coast of the mainland!

Ate dinner here one evening. Salad bar is great, but for overseas guests, labelling the dressings would be great. The meals were ok, but I ordered the scallop dish. It came out 'swimming' in a broth or soup - which wasn't written as is on the menu - a little disappointed.

You should visit this place. The food is good and the setting is amazin outside overlooking the koi pond. The steak was good and service was on target. I love the casual atmosphere. Be sure to go.

After several days of Hawaiian-style food, including sushi, lots of fish, and hotel buffets, we were ready for a steakhouse. Should we drive from our Ko-Olina hotel down to Honolulu and splurge (boy the prices looked high, but really nice spots)? Or, is there something nearby that will do the trick? Well, Chuck's Steak and Seafood, located inside the Marriott's Ko'Olina Beach Resort, it was a short walk along the beautiful man-made lagoons from our Aulani home. The grounds of the Marriott are something to behold, themselves, with the landscaped pool areas and Koi ponds with HUGE Koi swimming around.

Chuck's has a nice patio--I think maybe the outside seating is larger than inside--a good thing, as you can see right over the lagoon, and into beautiful sunsets. The restaurant does not take reservations, but we managed to get there at about 6:00pm, with a party of 5, and were seated right away on the patio. The menu is familiar--just what I wanted to see when satisfying my home comfort steakhouse experience. Shrimp cocktail, fabulous salad bar (a hallmark of Chuck's--quite fresh and extensive, and includes breads and soup), bread to start. Boat drink cocktails are available, and quite good, and they also have a decent wine list. Their steaks are USDA Prime, and prices include your baked potato with the "works". Nice dessert list, too, if you share amongst the table. The value of this meal was actually much better than what I find regularly in Denver, CO.

Perhaps we weren't pampered to the extent you would be at The Capital Grille or Del Frisco's, but the food was wonderful, the service friendly, and the embiance unmatched. Despite the "no reservation" policy, I highly recommend it!
