This was a very good place to stay, but is not a One bedroom as advertised. It is a large studio apartment with a room divider that partially divides off the bedroom area. We stayed here with our two teenage daughters, and it was a bit tight but Jack and Trini were very accommodating by offering a blow up mattress after we found out our oldest daughter would be joining us on the trip. They also provided plenty of towels for the beach, and even candles when the power went out during a rainstorm. Pay attention when parking,, as we dented our rental car on a rock there.
It is very private, having it's own patio and pool areas. It was very clean and up to date, and we were able to use their boogie boards for the beach. It's only about a 30 minute drive to Honolulu, and not too much farther to the North Shore. You will have to drive a few miles to get to stores or restaurants, as there is nothing nearby. My favorite part was sitting on the lanai in the morning, drinking coffee, and watching the sunrise over the small island in the distance. Overall it was a very good place to stay that we would gladly recommend.
