Great day for a kayak rental. Went to the Molulua island and back, stopped at Lanikai for some awesome snorkeling. Staff were very knowledgeable and helpful. Highly recommend this.

We saw KS&K's brochures and ads everywhere. I don't think a single tourist book/magazine didn't have their ads so we jumped at the chance. Our issue was that in the November travel guide the prices were $20/pp less than the actual prices on November 6th. Of course the fine print allows for this, but in all it left a bad taste, not to mention having traveled from Ko Olina for this purpose we were stuck if we wanted to salvage our plans for the day. The next issue was the kayak my GF got was missing any of the bungi keepers so securing a camera and water within reach was impossible, when she asked for another it was a huge ordeal to the "dude", and after 20 minutes we were on our way amid dirty looks. Lastly, the proximity to the beach was as close as they advertise, they just fail to mention that's not where you put in with kayaks which is nearly twice as far, not a big deal for us, but seemed a chore for the older couple ahead of us. While the day was nice, and kayaking is a great way to spend a few hours in the sun and water, I'd certainly call ahead and check to see what the prices really are.

We did the two hour kayak tour. We had a bit of a hiccup at the start. Our fault - we fit on the wrong bus. Eventually got returned to pick up point and our guide Andy S came over and picked us up. He was real good.

The instructions at the site were very clear. It was a bit of a pain walking our kayaks to the beach but its a local rule that the companies cdnt set up on the beach do it cdnt be avoided and its certainly big the company's fault.

It might have been because the wind wasn't too bad but the two hour tour didn't tire us out and we left eager for more, we'd never kayaked before and Andy S quickly had us feeling really comfortable. His tour of the bird sanctuary island was interesting with quite a few good photo opportunities.

Don't take a big camera and bring plenty of sun block. The lunch offered is simple (you have a voucher for three restaurants nearby). We tried the pizza and it was excellent.

All in all it was a great day and we only wished we'd been staying a few days more and we wd have done a longer tour too.

Rented snorkels, bikes and kayaks. All were in good working order and the staff was nice to offer a bike map and give other advice. Had lockers, changing rooms, and bathrooms. Is located convenient to Kailua beach.

My husband and I took the 4 hour kayak tour of the Moku'lua Islands on November 14th. Our guides, Andy and Trevor, were very friendly and professional and knowledgeable about the area. Water was somewhat rough going out to the island, but once we were there it became all worthwhile. The lunch provided was excellent, history lesson provided was excellent, and the fact that they were able to answer any question without hesitation made it a very pleasant experience. Being able to see see birds(3 month old) up close is a memory that will last a long time. It was beautiful day and with the short amount of snorkelling that we did just off of the beach we were able to see some of the local fish species.

Trip back from the island was even better because we were going with the current and we were able to watch a few kites surfers playing in the surf.

Hands down this experience was one that will last a life time. Our only suggestion is that customer should be well prepared for the sun. (ie. sunscreen/rash guard/hat/sunglasses)
