“A Little Hard to Find, but Well Worth the Visit”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 3, 2014

First of all, I highly recommend that you map out the location before you head out. We had a little trouble finding the place, but eventually succeeded. It is located in Kailua one block west of Oneawa Street at the intersection of Kihapai and Hoolai Streets (southeast corner of the intersection).

When you arrive, ask for at least two more malasadas than you think you might want. That way you won't have to wait 10 more minutes once you've decided that they are indeed the best on the island! The staff were very friendly during our visit and I would consider this location a must-stop for anyone with a sweet tooth. I'm practically drooling now just thinking about the warm, fresh morsels from heaven!

“Better than Leonards (IMO)”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 31, 2014

The malasadas here are great. They have a nice chewy consistency to them, and they are also fresh and made to order. I preferred them to Leonards in Honolulu.

“The malasaddas are awesome!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 29, 2014 via mobile

My jet-lagged grandchildren have declared Agnes's the highlight of Oahu (of course they only just got here!). We ordered the cinnamon-sugar malasaddas on arrival while the children were each enjoying their individual fantasy sweet (ALL were declared "the best"!), when the malasaddas arrived fresh and hot-they were devoured. The only way they could be convinced to leave was to promise to return! The baguettes at dinner were also excellent. For a treat, this place is not to be missed.

“Another delicious find”

They make their molosadas (spellcheck) fresh when you order. They are delicious. Many other tasty looking baked goods. Very friendly and fairly priced.

“Great tasting fresh malasada's”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 31, 2014

Had to try the malasada's from Agnes Portuguese bakery before going home! they were fresh and hot and crispy outside, soft inside, very yummy. Very interesting selection of cakes and pastries but it's hard to go past the malasada's at 90c each.
