This used to be a hole in the wall operation with locals willing to wait an hour or more for breakfast. Now it is a tourist operation with visitors willing to wait an hour or more for breakfast, but not many locals. Last time I went food was still tasty but the portions seemed smaller than the old days. If you go - get the mac pancake sauce and/or Maui Wowie omelet.

Get there when they open. Line is out the door but definitely worth the wait. Omelets are enormous and cooked to perfection. Hawaiian Portuguese sausage is spicy and great. But the star is the macadamia nut pancakes with the secret sauce. Whole stop hustles and the place is a bit chaotic but you know that you are in for one of the most amazing memorable breakfast you ever have. I must stop even if it's a bit out of the way. Can't wait to go back

Use to love this place but the last three times were horrible. Service is sooo slow, pancakes are their thing and they were microwaved, just wrong! Eggs overcooked. Never again. They're all about quantity and no quality. Just a tourist trap.

Three of us came on a Saturday afternoon in September and waited 45 min for a table, par for the course. It’s worth every minute of the wait. We wanted to try the famous macadamia nut pancakes but get other specialties as well, so we ordered a stack of three banana pancakes with Kimo’s Macadamia Nut Sauce ($12.99) to share, plus three individual entrees: Okolehao Omelette ($10.95), Pakalolo Onolicious Omelette ($13.95), and Battered Mahi-Mahi with fried rice ($16,94).

We cleaned our plates. As expected, the pancakes were outstanding. The Okolehao omelette came filled with salsa and melted cream cheese. The mahi-mahi came on a bed of cabbage, accompanied by two eggs sunny side up, fried rice, and tartar sauce on the side. We all left satisfied and happy.

There is usually a waiting line here... Cash only! Breakfast served way past lunch hours. Busy decor with flags and T-shirts for sale. Foods are tasty especially the chicken dishes .
