“Grazing at Whole Foods Kailua”
Reviewed October 11, 2012

Whole Foods Kailua is a destination, an open market experience with a plethora of choices to satisfy your gustatory palette and feast your eyes. Unlike most Whole Food locations in the United States, the gathering space created in Kailua on the island of Oahu is a great example of how to democratize whole foods. From "green walls'" to flower carts, whole fish on ice, freshly butchered meats, mangoes from Waimanalo and sorbets to cleanse the palette in between Chlnese wok dishes, hot entrees to go, pizza, a wine and beer bar, cheese samplings and sweets - the list goes on and on. Tables, nooks, two outside cafes..... its a destination that requires time to travel the aisles, read the wine labels, survey the offerings of nuts, grains and produce, talk to the knowledgible staff. You won't be disappointed going solo, in tandem or with a group - make Whole Foods Kailua a part of your day and stay! And if you are from Honolulu share it with friends, family and visitors. Everyone can graze according to their taste, spend according to their budget, and savor every minute.

“upbeat spot”

Whole Foods is in the heart of Kailua. The wine bar and food choices are numerous. Pick up your items and enjoy the outside patio while you watch life in Kailua go by. It is very kid friendly as well.

“Whole foods grocery Kailua a great place, even for tourists!”
Reviewed August 25, 2012

We are staying at disneys Aulani Resort and Spa on south western Oahu but we kayaking in Kailua. Opted tomgo to the whole foods store for coffee and pastry before and after our kayaking. GREAT CHOICE! The have an extensive wine section with local wines isolted for ease of finding and wines listed with great descriptions and employee favorites and local rankings. We gotncombination fruit containers and teas and fresh salsa and chips tom take back to our hotel. I got a couple Whole foods reusable grocery bags that say Kailua Oahu to give as gifts, they even have labeled beer glasses as well. There are locally made soaps...more gifts...the dessert section had large and small lime tarts that are fantastic. I highly recommend.
The place listing on these reviews, should drop the "Wine Bar" part of the name. It is a grocery store.
