Ate here for the first time and loved it. Met some friends who had been there and recomended it . Looks like a pub in any big city-not what you would expect in a beach town in Hawaii. Saw several groups meeting for lunch. I had potato skins- really good. One friend had the Ruben -yummy. Another friend had a corned beef sandwich- also very good. The wait staff was very friendly and patient- we visited for quiet a while there. The items we had were all around $8.00. I loved it - great addition to Kailua.

Waited too long and got poor waiting service and then just mediocre food... some stuff just didn't taste right at all. Although the french onion soup was "ok"...I've lived in Kailua for 4 yrs and just recently decided to go and eat there.
Won't make that mistake again.

This little gem was recommended to us by a local and he was spot on. No tourist trap here--just good food and a great selection of beer on tap. The fish is fresh fish of the day--ours was mahi mahi and was melt in your mouth good. The very light beer batter was perfect and the fries were great too. It's not on the main drag, but worth searching out. Lunch without the alcohol was under $10. The locally brewed Fire Rock pale ale was $3.50 for 16 oz glass and excellent.
