“Best Prime Rib on the North Shore”
Reviewed August 19, 2014

I must say that it is actually the best Prime Rib on the islands. I have been dining there for years. The Spinach, bacon salad is fresh and delicious too. Oh yes, don't for get the homemade mashed potatoes, they do it just right!

“better not arrive late!”
Reviewed August 18, 2014

Though the food was pretty good and the setting very good, were very disappointed about the attitude of the staff.
First night, (2 days before said to be Hurricane) we arrived from our flight at 9.30 and were served a very good meal for 5 people. All food was very good but our prime rib was nice though meat was tough and - for us - still too raw. We asked to have it a bit more grilled but to our suprise we receive back a piece of meat grey that obviously had been boiled or passed in the microwave... No need to say that meat was left uneaten.
When I asked for the reason of that sad colour of the meat I was told that kitchen was closed by then and thus could not do otherwise...

2 days later, we were back, late again, just before 10 as the Hotel, Turtle Bay resort where Lei Lei is located, told us clearly that Last order were at ten. However when we arrived we were told we could not eat anymore. I asked for the manager and the owner arrived and told the restaurant closed at ten. When I asked him if the restaurant was closed at ten or last orders were at ten, no answer came back and just told us it was closed! Not even the offer of a piece of bread or any ready food for the children... While the kitchen was still working hard for other guests ariived earlier.

So difficult to rate this one. Yes, the food is quite good but the attitude is rather deplorable!

“Great Golf Course Restaurant”
Reviewed August 13, 2014

Lei Lei's is the golf course restaurant at Turtle Bay. Laid back, good food, prompt & friendly service. We liked it enough to have a lunch and a dinner there. If you're staying on the North Shore, go and enjoy!

“Convenient & Tasty”
Reviewed August 11, 2014

We had lunch here so my review is limited to the lunchtime menu. There were a variety of choices and included salads to burgers. The fresh fish sandwich was delicious. The service was excellent and the food was prepared in a very short amount of time. Nice place to go if you have a pending tee time.
