Description: Tita's Grill, Is a family friendly, local Hawaiian style Food Truck. We are located at the Hukilau Marketplace at the Polynesian Cultural Center right off Kamehameha Highway. Drive up, park and order straight from our window. We offer take out, or have a seat on our outdoor picnic tables and eat Ohana style. Make friends, share aloha and enjoy our onolicious food. We are just a humble "hole in the wall" that serves great food, nothing fancy.

Too much tasty food for one person. Share a meal and enjoy. Friendly staff and fast service. They even gave us some free chocolate cake while we waited.

My wife and I were staying at Turtle Bay, and found the food prices to be very high. We heard about Tita's from the bar attendent at the hotel so we thought we would give it a try. It was great, in fact we ended up eating there 7 times during our stay. Each order is probably more then one person could eat, but I did my darness to finish it off. lol I enjoy the Loco Moco and was surprised to see that they made it with two beef paties and 2 eggs, all other places I have been to only use one of each. I would lighly recomment this to anyone that wants great food and good prices. The Shrimp was great, better then the other stands selling it along the road side.

Tita's Grill is owned and operated by legendary Jr. Ah You who played defensive end with the Montreal Alouettes for nine seasons (1972-1981), winning two Grey Cup championships in 1974 and 1977. Ah You won the Grey Cup Most Valuable Player (Defence) in the 1974 championship game, was a CFL All-Star in two seasons (1976 & 1979). Ah You's jersey #77 is one of seven retired by the Alouettes when he was inducted into the Canadian Football Hall of Fame in 1997.

"Ah You Hungry" is the slogan on the road side grill's sign ... And you better be because the food is to die for. Jr's entire family runs the joint and provides catering services to local found greatness like the infamous Polynesian Cultural Centre.

Jr. can sometimes be found out back baking Hawaiian bread --- this bread melts in your mouth. I have seriously never had anything like it.

The traditional loco moco is fit for a king and could probably feed the king's village.

My friend and I shared the loco moco wish consisted of:

3 scoops rice. 3 hamburger patties topped with brown gravy. Pasta salad. Cabbage salad and of course a piece of toasted and buttered freshly baked bread.

Coming back another day we had the daily special which was baby back ribs, 1/2 a dozen (locally grown) garlic prawns, rice and two salads. Easily devoured -- not even a morsel of rice left. Finished with special chocolate cake featured in the region.

If choosing something off the menu proves challenging then simply scope out the dishes of the other guests who line the outdoor picnic tables.... This may help or it may cause you to have to return a second or even third time like we had too!

Thank you Jr. and family for a great food and a wonderful experience.

A must see, stop and eat location when visiting Oahu. Take a trip out of Waikiki, head to the north shore and don't eat anything till you get to Tita's!

Cheers from Canada!

We stopped here for lunch on our way to the Polynesian Cultural Center. We both ordered the Teriyaki Steak & Rice but could not finish it. We probably should have ordered just 1 plate to avoid stuffing ourselves. We shared the medium soda, and it was huge.

You certainly get your money's worth here. Try it if you are in the area. You won't be disappointed.
