This one happened to be the highlight of our stay in Hawaii this time. We stumbled upon it accidentally on a way from the East coast to Pupukea.
Located in an unassuming and and unremarkable place on the very northernmost point of Oahu it boasts the best shrimp I ever tried in my life! True thing.
They farm and harvest their own shrimp right behind their trucks and those never previously frozen shrimps are the secret of the heavenly taste. It's like pure essence of shrimpiness, so sweet and fresh, so plump and juicy!
Nuff to say that we were driving there every other day of our stay in Honolulu, just for this sole purpose to have these shrimps.
Their sweet corn covered in butter is remarkable too. Worth every penny.
In addition, if you will be driving from the East coast (from Hanauma Bay) towards the northern tip of the island of Oahu, pay attention to the tiny farmers' market on the left: well worth to make a stop and buy some freshest and sweetest fruits from the local orchards, wonderful fruit preserves as well as quite addictive deep-fried banana spring rolls - true food of gods!
