“Awsome Plate fare”

Local food fantastic.... absolute must try. Hawaiian food is a fusion of all ethnic influences so it has a little of everything. My only disappointment is i could not try everything.

“Great for breakfast!”

We ate here twice on our trip to the North Shore of Oahu. Delicious pancakes (you have to try the Macadamia Nut pancakes). Huge portions.

“Yummy local fare!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 28, 2014

We shared the Papa J Special...More than enough for two people...Ribs, shrimp, rice, mac salad...Not for those watching their calories, but a great meal after a day at the beach. The line up is out the door, but the service was quick enough.

“Well, it can go both ways.”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 26, 2014 via mobile

This was recommened to us by a young local, saying she loved the garlic chicken, which I ordered. My GF got the shrimp, I guess garlic or scampi. So, to keep it short, on the plus, lots of food, reasonally priced, reasonably tasty; the down side, greasy chicken, bland sticky rice (I have not had any rice on Oahu that hasn't been bland,) and nothing extraordinary. Go only if in the area, not out of your way. (We came from Kualoa Ranch, and it was north and we were going south, wouldn't do that again.) Kualoa Ranch was great, would do that again.

“Drive on by!”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 18, 2014 via mobile

We had family in town and took them out to the PCC and were looking for some good local food. Don't make the same mistake we did. Five of us ordered a variety of dishes, ranging from tuna, to fried chicken, hamburger, and shrimp. All of the entrees were yuck - from bland to bad. Tuna overcooked. Shrimp in some type of fake garlic sauce apparently since not a tiny piece of garlic was seen on it. Chicken on par with that at a Safeway takeout counter. Even things that they should have had down cold, for example, mac salad and rice, were not good. Bland, bland, bland. Dirty, not exceedingly friendly, and worth a drive to find something better. Threw most of our away and then bought a dessert to try to make up for some of the crap food and threw it away to. First time, shame on you and second time shame on me!
