Did not expect such a great meal from the outside. We wouldnt have even tried it without reading other reveiws. The staff was beyond friendly and helpful. The portions were huge and a great value. The Rib and Shrimp platter is what everyone seems to order. The shrimp we great, I would go back again just for the shrimp. The ribs got mixed reviews from our group. Two ways to order, wet or dry. They are marianted short ribs and they ask how you want them cooked, first time I have ever tried a medium short rib. They both have great flavor but both are a little chewy. If you like a little bite in your ribs you will love them. I had the dry version and they almost tasted like a salt cured rib. My wife had the wet version and it tasted like an asian flavor sauce on them. The people in our group from the midwest are use to the "fall off the bone" style ribs that bake and simmer for hours so they thought they were tough. The grilled chicken was also very good. We ate here one day after visiting the Polynesian Cultural Center.
