“Great hamburger and fries”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 8, 2013 via mobile

This is a hamburger shop. A bit more upscale than a mega fast food outlet. The burgers are tasty - the fries are perfect. Burgers run about $9 by the time you get them the way you want them. But, hey, this is Hawaii. Looking for a good solid burger? This is the place to stop.

“YUMMY”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 2, 2013 via mobile

Best burgers in town. Also very reasonable prices. Great portions for the price..only order the large fries if you are very hungry. The small fries are very big ( as are the burgers).

All the reviews are right about this place! So glad we stopped by for sure! Great burgers and fries! Awesome bacon burgers with tons of avocado? Enjoy!

“No free refills? Lame”

Overpriced food, and not particularly friendly. I would suggest Kahuku grill for better burgers, prices, and service but it's about 30 minutes away.

“Just an Average Choice”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 16, 2013

Had read good things from other reviews and went out of our way to find Kua Aina January 7 - about 2pm. First challenge was to find it as the signage is not obvious when driving into town but asking a local solves that. Anyway, was a quiet time and able to order and get a table outside immediately. Chose the 1/3 lb burger with bacon/cheese/grilled onions & fries. Both burger and fries were very disappointing - the burger was well done - they say they cook medium and the fries were so thin they were inedible for me. Had been to Teddy's in Kailau the day before and what a difference - in both burger and fries - very tasty. Sadly, I can't recommend Kua Aina - would try Waialau nearby instead.
