“Friendly atmosphere with a north shore buzz”

Waialua Bakery is a hotspot for locals and tourists alike. They have monstrous cookies for only $1 and delicious salads, smoothies, and sandwiches so full they gush out the sides. Family owned and operated, Waialua Bakery grows much of their own food and bakes their own bread. A must-go-to-eat for Haleiwa--they'll treat you right.

“Great food, great price, wonderful people and atmosphere.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 13, 2010

I loved the Waialua Bakery. The food was fresh and delicious. The homebaked goods were outstanding. The staff was friendly and helpful and the price was right. I would recommend this bakery for breakfast or lunch for anyone. My girls ran into Jack Johnson for an added treat.

“Fresh, homemade, handmade food”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 28, 2007

Waialua bakery has a great variety of sandwiches, including vegan and vegetarian options such as a roasted vegetable & hummus to the works which has roasted turkey (and I'm not talking about the garbage in the grocery store that is processed, it is actually turkey they roasted), sprouts, mayo, mustard, hummus, provolone and tomato. SO GOOD! They also have many varieties of cookies including a "Beach comber" with oatmeal, raisins & chocolate chips and a "Monster" with peanut butter, oatmeal & m&ms. The best part: homemade ice cream. Yes, homemade! They even have coconut flavored ice cream. They also have a variety of smoothies but I haven't tried any of these.
