Had a Kahlua Pig Grilled Cheese sandwich at this amazing food truck, which is located in a scenic spot on the North Shore along with a few other food trucks. This sandwich rates as one of my most memorable meals ever! The pig and cheese were a great combination, but the macadamia nut pesto condiment made this sandwich truly amazing.

This food truck serves up some amazing stuff. The Korean short rib grilled cheese is broke da mouth good. My only regret is we found this place on our last day on the island. Oh well, we'll be back for sure! Everyone at sharks cove was in line at the taco truck, which I'm sure is good. But Beachside Galley is where you want to be!!!

The kalua pork grilled cheese is unreal. Sourdough bread is on point, they mix gruyere and one other cheese, and have a nice pesto sauce on it. ($8.50)

This is one of my favorite food carts and item's on the island! Got get in there before evening tho!

After a trip up to the famed North Shore from Pearl Harbor, we were famished!

We stopped at Sharks Cove to take in the view and snap some photos and saw the food trucks across the street. Looking over the menus, we settled on the Beachside Galley.

The descriptions on the menu with fresh, locally sourced vegetables sold us immediately. We opted for the Tsumami Burger.

It was a medium-cooked juicy burger on a soft, flavorful brioche bun with fried tomatillos, onion, tomato, a thick slice of muenster cheese, avocado and bacon jam...yes I said bacon jam. We love burgers and this was by far, the best burger we have ever had! I even put a comment on their Facebook page and they responded very quickly.

Two days later, we were back again. Another Tsunami Burger and a braised short rib grilled cheese sandwich. Cheese lovers, this is a must. Rich and deeply flavored braised short ribs and dripping with ooey-gooey cheese and nice crunchy-crusty bread.

I wanted the ocean catch bowl, but it was late in the day and they were out of the fresh fish...it sounded so Delish with fresh corn, romesco, some other fresh veg and a pesto quinoa under it all.

It's well worth the drive if you are in Honolulu or a don't miss while you are visiting the North Shore.

We stopped here twice for lunch. Both times were excited about the grilled cheese sandwiches. Both times we were told they had neither any kalua pork or braised short ribs to actually make the grilled cheese sandwiches they advertised.

Clearly they have either a supplier issue, or they are very poor at planning. Either way its a waste of time to stop if they don't have half their menu available on any given day
