This was an ok place to have a drink and get some lunch. The food was nothing special, fried fish was very greasy, the loco moco gravy lack flavor and the garlic shrimp lack seasoning

Had a few drinks at Breakers, but did not order food. Loved the bar decor with all the $ hung up. Cold beers and a nice bright vibe. Would recommend to anyone walking around the shops in the area.

Located on the North Shore which has very high traffic. There was a waiting line for all the eating establishments in the area. We walked around the shops next door while waiting. The menu has a large assortment of types of food. The portions were large and the food was very good. The staff however, were not very friendly. The food and atmosphere still made it a nice place to eat. They have a band/performer in the evening but I am not sure if it's every-night.

There are several brunch places, and you should probably try them all. We stopped at the breakers, just becasue it looked local, din't seem to require a lot of fanfare to make a reservation and eat. We had breakfast, and it was all good.

We cannot speak to any of the other meals they serve. Eggs Benedict- just right, - meat lovers omelette- a little small but full of flavor, and home fry potatoes done just right too, mixed with onions and peppers.

Beware - everyone over here considers SPAM a form of meat. You can ask for food without spam!

Decent food= served witha smile-= what more could you ask for!

My husband and I went to Breakers twice but only because the first time we sat outside and my husband had especially good fish and chips and good beer (he's British so that is a better than average compliment). Breakers is in a good location in Haleiwa at the Marketplace and lots of people are looking for food. We went back a couple of days later and as it was cooler and nearly dark we sat inside. Our server was OK but had to be persuaded to come to our table to check on us from time to time. What really put me off though was the dirty, sticky vinyl tablecloth, the greasy condiment bottles and the overall feeling that things in general (like the kitchen perhaps?) were unsanitary. I didn't want to touch anything. I had a hamburger both times and it was good, the fries so-so and we did discover beer from a local brewery which was excellent (although we could have discovered this at any other restaurant). My husband ordered the fish & chips again because they were so good the first time but this time, for whatever reason, they were only average...different cook? I do not recommend Breakers unless you sit outside where the fresh breezes and overall cleaner environment changes this restaurant from POOR to AVERAGE.
