“Great Breakfast Spot”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 9, 2013

This was our second visit here for breakfast. They have a nice menu with specials that are above the average breakfast fare. Delicious pancakes and omlettes are what we enjoyed. Great coffee. Friendly atmosphere and you will probably have to wait a bit for a table but it is worth it.

“Great food, 'cute' (as my wife puts it) atmosphere!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 13, 2013 via mobile

We were heading out to the Dole Pineapple plantation today, stopped here for breakfast along the way.

The place was packed, but the waitress luckily there was an open table for two so we got right in.

The service was immediate and no-nonsense. The food arrived quickly, as did the coffee (which was so-so, but tasted like liquid gold compared to the complimentary crap at the resort). We got a breakfast burrito with potatoes. Nothing to worth home about, but tasted fresh. The home fries were the really good part.

Overall, the service was fast, the food was good, and the prices reasonable. Would go back!

“Average at best”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 10, 2013 via mobile

Granted, this is one of the few places we found to actually have a full breakfast, but that's about all they have going for them. The food was average; I'm talking Denny's quality. And our server was indifferent at best, although I could see that most of the other servers were better. Would not go back here.

“A good quick feed”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 16, 2013

We arrived at 1:34pm at the door and as soon as Denise (found out her name later) inside saw us she went around the counter and out the back. I checked the time and they close at 2pm ( have a break before dinner), I thought there is no one else apart from an old couple in the corner so if they are quick with the food we will be out of there fast. The menu was typical cafe but fitted our needs. Everyone ordered what they wanted and everyone ate their food. Place is old and I have no fear of eating in a pace that is a little scruffy, but I so wanted to sweep and wash the floors and walls. (Some call this ambience) The food was satisfying and kept us going for the afternoon. Staff (Denise) was obviously tired and probably didn't want us there. I told her we only wanted a quick feed then out, we also made her smile and relax a little too. We had finished by 1:55. This place gets very busy and seems popular with the locals. Probably because pricing is reasonable and food good cafe food. Think nights may be a different thing altogether.

“Don't go the ambience, it's the food”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 11, 2013

The person we rented our house from was big on this place. The food was good. The service very friendly. It serves dinner W-Sa. Have heard good things. I maybe be uptight, but I have a hard time spending $30-$40/person in that sort of ambience.
