Had dinner here one night. Service was good, and fast. Drinks came quickly, and they checked in with us throughout our meal. Margaritas were well made. Food quality was great, and plenty of food on the plate. Recommend to others.

Reserve or expect to wait a bit. But our 20 minutes wait was so worth it. Great food...margaritas were very delicious. Ribs were perfectly done and the sauce super tasty. Corn was only so so. The chips and salsa were a great starter. Can I get some togo?

who knew that I needed to go to Hawaii to have amazing mexican food. We all had some sort of fish taco. Super fresh and perfectly flaky fish. Also loved the perfectly cooked Mexican rice and great beans. I will truly recommend making the trip to Luibueno's if you are in the North Shore. We also had an excellent Margarita with pineapple infused tequila. Super nice

Service from the get-go was very good, we were served drinks within the first 5 minutes of sitting down & corn chips were bought to the table with salsa for us.

We ate the oysters (massive in size) and had the guacamole too as appetisers then moved on to the cerviche tostadas & steak burrito.

The food was large in serving and all tasty although I will be honest, the cerviche isn't fantastic - it needed some sauce. It's a chefs recommendation on the menu but I wouldn't highly recommend it if you're a fan of good quality cerviche. It was also heavily coated in lime juice which made it quite bitter and sour to eat.

We were impressed that the corn chips, salsa's and even tortilla wraps were all made there on the premises. You could taste the difference - it was fresh.

The setting is cosy and intimate - probably wouldn't recommend it for a large group of people of 4+ as it would be overcrowded. 4 people or less is plenty to visit.

Price of the food is reasonable too, you'll have to tip at least 20% of the bill for outstanding service but it is worth it as that is what you'll get at Luibeuno's :)

We decided to have lunch here after a long day of exploring the north shore. We liked the idea of having some mexican food, and ended up having the ahi taco plate, carnitas and margaritas. It tasted just like the food out here in southern california. It was not greasy and was fresh and light. It was a nice break from all the fried local food we have had all week.
