“Great view for shark watching!”
Reviewed October 16, 2012

We just returned from a fantastic trip to Oahu. This activity is one we thoroughly enjoyed! There was a mixup with one of the families reservation in our party. They resolved it quickly and professionally. You get to see a few different types of sharks that swim right by the cage! It is easy to get in and out of the cage as well. When they tell you to take something for seasickness do as it gets pretty choppy out there. The fellow on the boat was very knowledgable about the sharks! You can tell he is passionate about them. I would recommend this to all ages it's extremely interesting and educational.

“Cage diving with Galapagos sharks - superb!”
Reviewed October 15, 2012 via mobile

Honeymoon in May 2012 . We had a great crew, very funny and hugely knowledgable - answered every question & filled our heads with endless fascinating facts. They have a fixed cage out in the ocean so the sharks are well used to people visiting this site and are plentiful - it seems they are as interested in us as we are in them. If you have never seen a shark close up, you must take this trip, it's very exciting and gets the adrenalin flowing. Fantastic photo opportunities above the water & for those clever people who thought to take an underwater camera (we didn't) in the water. We loved the North Shore, beautiful, very special place. I was a little sea sick on the trip but my husband Tim was fine - typical! (0;

“Amazing! Worth every cent!”
Reviewed October 10, 2012

This was the most amazing and majestical experience - the waster was nice and the crew was very helpful. The sharks were incredible! They were very large mostly Galapagos sharks that came right up to the cage. If you go to Oahu, you MUST take this tour!!!

“Need to try it at least once.”
Reviewed October 2, 2012

This tour was fun. The 2 guys on the boat were nice and down to earth. Every tour I did in Hawaii provided wetsuits. So when we arrived at 6:30am to the location I expected it. They do not provide nor offer. I was nervous because it was a cold cloudy day, but honestly the water was warmer than the air outside so it was ok.

The boat is tiny, but the ride wasn't bad at all. I don't get seasick, but there were many people on the boat who were prone to seasickness. None were upset with the boat ride.

We were split into 2 groups. When its your turn the guides show you how to climb down into the cage and let you have a good time for 20-30 min.

The sharks you see are Galapagos and sand sharks,. Nothing crazy like great whites or tiger sharks. That was a bit disappointing, but when you see those suckers up close it doesn't matter what kind they are a shark is a shark and I was in awe. It was amazing to be mere inches from them.

The water is clear enough to take amazing shots and videos. the cage is big enough to have leg and elbow space.

I was expecting to be able to see sharks come to eat bait from the back of the boat from a previous reviewer and pictures on yelp. But I was disappointed because we didn't do that. The boat does not carry bait. So you just got to see them underwater.

overall it was a great trip. I don't think I would do it again, its more like a once in a lifetime activity.

“sharks great,water NOT!”
Reviewed September 24, 2012

We are a family of 4 who booked this trip in early august. we did the 6:30 am tour as recomended by the company for the calmest water conditions. our kids are 10 and 13. As we arrived at the location you can see galapagos sharks in the water on the surface.Thrilling! but then you see the cage rocking in the water. you must hang on the rails in the cage or you will be slammed against the sides due to the water conditions. it is very rough, but worth it to see the sharks. take the seasick pills people, you will enjoy yourself more. i would not reccomend this for kids under 14. my 10 year old would not get in, and the 13 yr old was scared to let go inside, due to water conditions. way to rough.
