“Second Visit...Still Awesome!”
Reviewed March 31, 2014

This place was recommended to us by one of the locals during our first trip to Hale'iwa in November last year. It made such a lasting impression that it was on our 'must-do' list for our return trip in March. This place is popular, so you can expect a little bit of a wait but the food is worth it - recommended by locals, tourists and the pro surfers alike!

I highly recommend the Kalua Pig Sandwiches (Hawaiian Pulled Pork) they are delicious and so filling. Their freshly squeezed lemonades and limeades are really refreshing on a hot day. This trip I tried their milkshakes (strawberry and pineapple) which were easily the best things I have ever tasted.

Great service, great food - we will certainly come back for a third time!

“Kono's is a must stop on the North Shore”
Reviewed March 18, 2014

Found Kono's by accident - best food at a great price! Had the pig bomber (split with my husband) - it was awesome- meat was so tender. My daughters had a breakfast bomber(in a rolled tortilla) and a bagel with cream cheese. The perfect spot if you have picky kids. I just wish it was closer to our hotel. Get the coconut cream pie shake for dessert- delish!!
