We brought two adults and five kiddos into this restaurant and received great service (no small task with so many little ones!) and good food. All the kids liked their meals as well - we will be back! As for the portion sizes, perhaps they've changed because I could hardly eat my entire veggie burrito and I was VERY hungry!

We went to Fiesta's on recommendation. Being said that they had great food for the price, etc...
First off..they do not give chips and salsa (like every other Mexican restaurant). So, instead we order Macho Nachos for an appetizer. Was just okay as chips were BURNT and, they used can cheese sauce along with shredded cheese...really don't see the point, and no salsa was given. (had to ask). Nothing really special. Tacoo Bell's Nacho Bell Grande is way better.
Next we ordered one keiki Taquito's meal. Came with 1 Taquito with really dried shredded, tasteless freezer burn chicken, and beans and rice. For $6 something...not worth it. Also had the Trio Combo which consisted on chili relleno, shredded beef enchalada and shredded beef tamale. For $15 also not worth it. (beef also tasted freezer burn.). Chili Verde was $12 and the little piesces of pork (about 3/8" cubes probably about a third of a cup in some very loose sauce) were aweful and very small the portion. I actually asked the waitress what I am paying $12 for?....the beans and rice? Looks like they actually scraped the bottom of the pot to get my very tiny serving of chile Verde. SAD!!...VERY SAD!, Will not RECCOMEND FIESTA'S TO ANYONE! GO EL MARIACHi or ChOlLO's. Food way better!!!

I had the tostada with shredded chicken (great salsa), tamal, and chile relleno (my favorite thing to order). It hit the spot. Probably the best chile relleno I've had....I've been to many Mexican restaurants in Mexico, southern California and Texas. We will be back! Glad to find a nice little local place that is super friendly.

Small shopping strip mall place in Ewa Beach, but is pretty good Mexican for Hawaii. One of the better places for Mexican on the island. Food is homemade except the tortillas, but those are locally made. Guacamole, salsa, sauces are all homemade. Two portion sizes, lunch and dinner. Take away available, and seemed to be a popular place for take away. Food is quickly prepared and served. Enchiladas verde were good. Tamales were fair, had too much masa (cornmeal) not enough meat. Guacamole was fresh, came with tostadas. Salsa was ok..could have had more flavor, but was deffinately not bad. They also have drinks such as horchata. Atmosphere is average, no frills. Ample parking and also gives Military discount. Prices are a bit higher than expected but not extremely out of place. $40 for two, with sodas, two dinner entres, guacamole dip and chips and salsa.

Our family decided to stop there one day after driving past it several times. The strip mall location isn't the best. And the other places we had tried (Thai and Chinese) in the mall were no good at all, so we falsely assumed they were all the same. The food is actually very good West Coast style Mexican (think California, not Texas). They have carnitas, chili verde and more that you won't find at typical Mexican places. The portions are a little small and the food is a little expensive for what you get. But, the service is top notch, they offer military discounts and the food quality is well above average! We'll be going back again.
