Went here for lunch. What a great lunch for $12.95 - half a lobster (cajun or salt/pepper seasoned) plus NY steak or Pork chop, with rice. Very, very clean restaurant. large open eating area, so would be great for large group (without being jammed against other tables). Servers were friendly & efficient. Tony, the owner stop to ask how everything was - nice touch. Others have mentioned parking problems, but no problem at lunch time for us.

Our server was personal and nice. Food spicy and good. One combo 3 feeds more than 4 people we had to take home. The Cajun wings are boss especially with the ranch sauce. Gloves, bibs and tools provided. Just bring a hungry belly and money.

Fabulous food. We had a house special on our first visit. Decided to return on Christmas Eve, ate chicken wings, king Crab, lobster, shrimp & mussels...then the fried bread pudding. All the food was exceptional but the dessert sent us to a blissful state. Absolutely my new favorite seafood restaurant. Only one minor irritant, a plastic fork, really?

Cajun King is good, but messy, eating. I cannot speak for every dish, but the combos (combinations of crab legs (or lobster), mussels, clams, shrimp and red potatoes, corn-on-the-cob and sausage slices) are cooked in a big pot of spices and served in a plastic bag. Sounds weird but explains why the tables are covered with butcher paper and you're provided with bibs and plastic gloves. It's sloppy eating, so I would advise wearing clothes you would not mind splashing a little grease or sauce on (despite the bibs). You're basically eating with your fingers. You might want to even consider bringing your own thicker disposable gloves since the spines on the crab legs can puncture the thin gloves they give you very easily. It was excellent food, though, and very tasty. A word to the wise, order it mild unless you want your mouth protesting afterward. I can't imagine what the "3 chili pepper" level is like. The bag has plenty of the spices and sauce in it. so you can mash up your potatoes for a better experience. The combos are not cheap ($48 and $55 depending on whether you choose lobster or king crab legs), but a normal couple would split a combo like we did. Although you can't substitute items in the combo, you can request one be left out. What they do is make up for it with extra of one or two of the other items. You can also order shrimp and other items by themselves which I assume is prepared the same way. With the combo you also get two domestic beers or two soft drinks (or a mixture). This is a special right now for which you do not need any coupon. We had a wonderful waitress who was full of suggestions and frequently back at our table to check on our progress. The inside of the restaurant is bright, roomy and clean with tiled floors. The restrooms were also clean. The only bummer about the restaurant is its location in the Waimalu Shopping Plaza. Parking really sucks, as in there isn't enough of it. Not a lot of alternative parking is available unless you want to walk across Kam Highway. I'd recommend Cajun King for a tryout. Go online to check out their menu.
