“Disappointing Pupus”
Reviewed May 2, 2014 via mobile

Went here last night for our monthly reunion with three other high school classmates (40 yrs ago) and sat in the outdoor lanai. Amber Bock on tap was excellent! Very disappointed with pupus served: small tasteless pieces of calamari rings, burnt Korean spicy chicken, small serving of tiny "stuffed" mushrooms, and spicy ahi poke that had more onions and cucumber than ahi. The saving grace was the great service by our hostess, the beer, great French fries, and great fellowship with the brothers. Last visited about two years ago but remember pupus being much better...

“Great view....food?”
Reviewed April 15, 2014

View of the watercress farm puts you back in time some 50 years before the mega development that destroyed the country life of Aiea. Viewed only from the patio area of the bar, it is worth a brief stop for a cocktail and appetizers. I would forego meals, however. Great happy hour prices on most drinks and a few appetizers. No problem on parking as it is adjacent to the Pearlridge Shopping Center.

“Save yourself the hassle”
Reviewed January 11, 2014 via mobile

The worst food and by far, THE worst service, I've had on the island...if not the worst ever.

My wife ordered the shrimp scampi...she got 4 pieces of shrimp. Everybody else's food was minimally average.

It took the waiter over 20 minutes to come take our order, we never got any refills on water and the little girl who brought the food, 30 minutes after ordering, mumbled and they got mad at us because we couldn't understand her.

Then it took another 20 minutes for the waiter to finally come and give us our check after we were done. Hell, we even stacked all the plates on the table. A little obvious we were done. Then if all of that wasn't enough, why does it take another 10 minutes to run my credit card? I better watch my statement.

By far, the WORST. Save your money and your colon. Just Say NO!

I won't get that 80 minutes of my life back.

“Nice $10 lunch menu”
Reviewed October 20, 2013

We tried this place for the first time last week. It wasn't crowded, and we were able to get a table with a view of the neighboring watercress farm. Waitress was excellent and food arrived promptly. We had a very good Entertainment Book coupon (BOGO) but were told we couldn't use it for the $10 lunch menu, which had about eight specials on it. Our friends used theirs to make the tasty, more expensive fish dishes they ordered affordable. Off the $10 menu, we tried the chicken stir fry and the thai chicken (lettuce) salad. Former was excellent, as was the peach green tea; latter was just OK. Located at the edge of the Pearlridge Mall. This corner of the the mall parking lot is shaded but fills up quickly by lunchtime.
