I had been here before one time, my sister & I have a ritual when I visit her, we must go eat sushi, since no one else in her family likes it. Lucky us, as this place was close and good eats for the price. We both shared a Rainbow roll and had a dinner mix-plate. The miso butter fish rocked! Do try their green tea ice cream for desert, it tastes like they make it themselves. The service was great too, waitress was attentive. The strange thing is, is that their booths are so low, you feel like asking for a booster seat to reach the table! Also, we were the only caucasian people in their, all others were local Japanese, which is always a good sign!

Living on the East coast, this was a completely new concept for me, but FUN! There are pictures on the walls to help you figure out what everything is and the plates are color-coded for pricing. Not everything looked the freshest (sometimes you don't know how long something has been going around), but for the most part it was very good and an inexpensive way to try something you may never have tried. There is also a menu for "special orders" which we also did. Overall we loved this concept and would definitely go back.

You don't just happen to walk by this place, you have to seek it out! Perfect for lunch after visiting Pearl Harbor visit. Sent dad next door to the sub sandwich place since he is not into sushi. Mom and I were seated immediately in front of a conveyor-belt of beautifully prepared plates of sushi, sashimi, salads and more. Attentive wait staff made sure to have water and hot tea available and replenished throughout meal. As you see something you like, you pull it off the conveyor and eat! At the end, the waitress tallies up your total by the color of the plates you pulled (3 red, 5 wood, 2 blue, etc.) Each plate color is a set price. Ex. wood plate is $1.45. Inexpensive and frequented by locals so you know it has got to be good! Not a fancy place, but food is A+++!

Conveyer belt style, awesome sushi, great selection, inexpensive. Only drawback is its popularity makes it hard to get a seat sometimes during peak times, but it really is a lot of fun and great value.
