“Yummy Bread”
Reviewed December 27, 2011

We have to have our Molokai Bread to make our visit to Molokai complete. The 10:00 pm "bread run" to the back of the bakery is a must do !

“Lunch was OK, but bread at night was great.”
Reviewed November 21, 2011

We had a light lunch, made lighter because they were running out of some things (you will learn when the barge is coming with provisions the next day, because places are running out of stuff). Service was slow. Staff was friendly. restroom was way out back and not so shiny bright (but that's Molokai!).

We returned the next night at 8:30 pm, when we went down the back alley for the famous bread - delicious!

“Hot Bread”
Reviewed November 21, 2011

We love the "Hot Bread" at the bakery. Just walk up the alley behind the bakery, after 9pm (no bread on Monday night, because the bakery is closed Tuesday). For $6.50 you can get bread, fresh from the oven, smeared with your choice of butter, cinnamon, cream cheese, and/or jelly. We just go sit on the curb in downtown Kanakakai, and eat until we pop!! My husband is a musician, so after he plays at Hotel Moloka'i, it's about time for a bread run.
But don't forget that they serve great breakfasts, especially the french toast, make with that fresh Moloka'i bread, for $5.50. Burgers are served on bakery bread also!! One of our favorite spots to eat. We have visited Moloka'i every year since '08'.

“Visited ten years ago and can still remember the awesome aroma of the bread baking, ready to buy.”

Easy access to the bakery from hotel. Not too crazy about the time for pick up but surely worth the wait.

“Hot Bread Run!”
Reviewed October 30, 2011

Don't miss the hot bread run! We got there early and couldn't find it at first. But within a few minutes, people started showing up in droves and all we had to do was follow them to the bakery! The bread is awesome and absolutely worth the trip!
