My first time at a bed and breakfast. I was not disappointed at all. The charm, beauty and solitude combined with the quality of food was only equalled by the helpfullness and friendliness of the owners and staff. All the ammentities you need. I spent almost a week there and will absolutely be back again on my next stay to Maui. Ardale OConnell Sheridan, Wy

Had a wonderful stay at the Old Wailuku Inn in the Miulana room. Nice spacious room with large overhead shower and side jets. Tom was a delightful host, breakfasts were fantastic - as noted in most reviews. Loved our visit to the Mendes Ranch for horseback riding that we booked with the Old Wailuku Inn.

What more could we ask for? Immaculate inn and grounds, rooms are tastefully decorated. the large library/sitting room on the second floor has stacks of books and things to read. The veranda: so peaceful. We loved the sound of birds among the trees, and the fish pond: so lovely. No one can beat the breakfasts, which are works of art. Everyone is friendly and open, and the conversation around the breakfast table is fun. Quiet and peaceful. The complaints I've read in the 3 "poor" reviews are unfounded. I never saw a single skeeter. Noise? Never heard any. Knock on the door and ask the people to tone it down. I'm sure they would have complied: this is not a lower class establishment. Another plus: a fridge full of beverages and lots of snacks in cannisters. We'll be back.

The inn is a private oasis in the historic district of Wailuku. The grounds are magnificent with coy ponds, flowers and fruit trees. Breakfast was five star every morning. The inn is immaculate and our hosts, Janice and Tom, were warm and welcoming.
Our room was on the second floor with it's own private lanai and king size bed. It truly was paradise. We would leave the inn after an amazing breakfast, go to the beach or a planned trip and return back to the inn for showers (our shower was huge with ceiling rain head and wall jets). Late afternoon was a glass of wine on the lanai with fresh fruit or snacks as we made plans for the evening. We slept, ate and played only to do it all over the next day. We couldn't have asked for a better vacation.

Room Tip: We were in the "vagabond" building next to the main house with our own private entrance.

My wife and I spent 7 wonderful days in this very friendly Inn. Our room was always very clean and fresh, very quiet at all times. The copious and divers breakfast were very good and delicious.
All the restaurants suggestion were A1. We highly recommend this Inn. Janice, the innkeeper went out of her way to make sure that we had everything we needed to fully enjoy our time on Maui and we definitely did.

Driving thru the neighbourhood, had us wondering about what to expect. However, the inn is well kept, the owners & staff are very friendly, courteous & helpful. The owner had no issue with upgrading our room, without us asking, due to unused room for our 2 nites. The room was roomy, nice decor, oversize bathroom & very comfy, good support mattress.Lots of books, inc good reference material for Mauai.
Didn't push any 'tourist' attractions or companys on us.The restaurants they recommended had good food & value for the money.Breakfasts were great!! fresh fruit to start & lots to eat. Snacks, cold/hot drinks available all the time. Cooler bags for trips also there to use. ground are well maintained, with interesting vegatation & products ready for the table. Pleasant common room, and nice lanai to sit out on. Interesting area, historically and easy/quick access to shopping areas & airport. Definitely, will stay here again & for more days!

Room Tip: go for rooms on main floor in main house, don't know about cottages.
