Description: This is a 60 seat restaurant that does Lunch, takeout and early dinner. Lunch is main business as it is in the heart of the judicial, financial and medical center of Maui County. The first Friday of every month they provide live music until about 10 pm. Great value with food from the soul. Drinks are strong and try some of the special martinis, Lilikoi Lip Balm, BBQ martini are newest. Menu changes based on product so look often. Unfortunately web site can't stay abreast of changes, so call for updates. Private functions and outside caterings are discussed and encouraged. Great for medical programs and rehearsal dinners.

“always delicious food and good conversation with owner”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 15, 2013

got a chance to visit one of my favorite restaurants on Maui. Tom, the owner and chef, always has outstanding food. I ordered take out and didn't realize it was from a old menu but Tom made it for me.The beef brisket was tender and so delicious.

“Get one of the daily specials”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 3, 2013

Chef Tom Selman does it all. We especially like his varied daily specials that are printed on the wall above the open kitchen. Today my husband had the grilled Mahi with fried artichoke hearts, and I had the crab cake salad. Both dishes were so good, and so fresh. Plus we were able to share between us.

This restaurant fills up quickly during lunch hour. Many locals from the various government buildings eat here, and today we saw 2 groups of just friends getting together too. It nice to eat healthy where the locals also eat.

The décor is basic but homey, and one just feels welcomed here.

“Five star taste”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 8, 2013

The food here is top notch. There's always a daily special. The fried artichoke hearts in truffle oil should be a separate dish in itself- melt in your mouth deliciousness. The mini lamb burger is really tasty as is pretty much everything on the menu. Hint- order the HALF order of fried onion strings, unless you have more than five people. The mixed drinks are also tall and strong!

“As good as it gets!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 16, 2013

We were going to a concert last night and decided to pop in at 5:00 with no reservations and were lucky enough to get a table because by 5:30 the place was packed and we now know why. The food was not only elegant and exotic,it was quite tasty and served hot and fresh. Prices are not for the faint hearted but in line with everyone else online. We will be back.also for fun, ask the chef/owner about Kansas and see what happens. This was a fun meal!

“So worth it!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 4, 2013

We stopped here for lunch after driving around. It looked unassuming and basic. It was excellent! The wait staff was extremely attentive, nice and full of smiles. The chef looked like he actually enjoyed cooking! And the food? So tasty, fresh and with enough of a different flare that was very good! I dislike places that try to be so creative, they are just plain weird! The chef knows what he is doing here, and we loved his food. Finally, the prices were not your typical Maui prices - it was reasonable!
