This was a fantastic experience, the crew were all so friendly and helpful. Breakfast and lunch including beer and wine were served and generously at that. Beautiful sights, snorkelling and you must try the snuba diving, though that was extra. Captain John made the experience all the more enjoyable with his wit and jokes! Definitely recommend!

Family of four (kids 8 & 5) went on the Four Winds the other day. I would totally recommend this trip. Whales were abundant, food was good, beer was good. Snorkeling was iffy, I think Molikini might be overused, but had the best water clarity I had seen on the island. I have snorkeled better places from the shore. With that being said......I was psuedo expecting that, we chose this for the "experience" of an excursion with the added benefit of whale watching. The boat crew were incredible, service was stellar! It would get 5 stars if Molikini had more fish

We had a wonderful adventure with the crew early this morning on our way to Molokini crater. Went on the early trip, 7am checkin, trade winds are down. We were served breakfast and lunch fit for any foodie...casual but scrumptious. What a great experience seeing numerous humpback whales up close putting on a show, tail waving, fluke waving, even full splash breaching! Clear waters with great snorkelling at Molokini, lots of brightly coloured fish up close and personal. Even saw some greenback turtles on the way back to the harbour. The crew was top notch and ensured all passengers had a good time while providing informative facts. Their kickback casual hospitality allowed us to enjoy our day and hang loose. Thx to the Four Winds II crew for a great Maui experience. Mahalo :-) Don't miss out on this one. Aloha.

The experience on this trip is worth every penny. The February whales, turtles and snorkeling at Molikini are all exceptional. We actually had more (and closer) whale encounters on this snorkling tour than the formal whale watching tour, just blind luck.

What really puts this trip over the top is the amazing customer service on the Four Winds II. Captain John was informative, hilarious and even let all the small children on the boat sit next to him while he steered (and wear a captain's hat). The crew is safety conscious yet lighthearted and more customer service oriented than the staff at our 5-star hotel. Outstanding breakfast and lunch and Captain John is nearly as entertaining as the whales and sealife. A definite MUST DO if he is captaining- a definite DO even if he's not.
