The beauty of the grounds is some of the best I have seen in my travels. Though parking can be a challenge, the peace and tranquility gained from walking the grounds will be well worth it.

We met some friends at the Kepaniwai Heritage Gardens, and they gave us a tour of the gardens, shrines, and other displays. It has exhibits representing the immigrants from China, Japan, Korea, the Philippines, and Portgual, all of whom helped make up the current population of the island of Maui. It is a nice quiet place to relax, enjoy the birds, meditate, and get into the beauty of the gardens and of all the surroundings.

We spent an hour or so strolling the gardens, visiting the monuments and enjoying the landscaped grounds.
Interesting, informative and a wonderful way to honor those who have settled the island.
