“Maui Ocean Center”

What an excellent adventure for those of us who do not snorkel or scuba dive! My spouse and I spent the whole day visiting this marvelous aquarium. We saw numerous marine creatures: eels, octopus, sea horses, turtles, hammerhead sharks, etc. The available self-guided audio system was excellent. This is an outing that interests all age groups and great for families with young children!

“Like SCUBA diving without getting wet”
Reviewed May 3, 2013

The Maui Ocean Center is very interesting and entertaining. The plastic "tunnel" through the large tank makes it feel like you are diving with the sharks and sting rays swimming all around you. The Seascape Restaurant in the center is one of the few places on Maui with good food at reasonable prices. The gift shop has a lot of unique items you won't find in the shops in Lahina. The ticket office and the gift shop both have military discounts, but you have to ask.

“Lots to see.”
Reviewed May 3, 2013 via mobile

This is a very nice attraction. A little pricey but what isn't in the islands. We got to listen to two different presentations, the starfish pool and the shark tank. Both were educational and fun but the guy at the shark tank was amusing as well.

“A lot of fish to see”
Reviewed May 1, 2013

Wow. This was a really nice place to go to. There were a lot of things to see and you could see the harbor too. It is wheelchair accessible and that was nice. It was so interesting and a big gift shop that was pretty reasonable. If you have a military ID you can really save on the entrance price and at the gift shop. Several gift shops and eating places there too. Kids would love this place and not too long to get bored at.

“Pretty Good”

This was OK, nothing too amazing here. A great stop if it is raining or if you have kids they would enjoy it.
