“Worth the price”

My wife and I went to the Ocean center primarily for the tunnel literally through the huge tank with sharks, rays, and lots of fish above, below and all around us. That exhibit was fascinating, as we expected. Never before seen a sting ray, let alone the BOTTOM of a sting ray. Most of the other exhibits were good as well - we learned a lot, and saw fish up close, many of which we saw the next day snorkelling.

“Overpriced aquarium”

Save your money for other Maui attractions. Standard adult entry fee is over $25; aquarium is very small. Very much a tourist attraction - expensive but not expansive.

“Superb exhibit!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 8, 2012 via mobile

The admission is a little high, but the open ocean exhibit wss worth it. With the diver in the water during the show, it was phenomenal. Allow a couple of hours if you enjoy the shows. Awesome that they release turtles to the ocean as they grow. Great for all ages. I've been to some outstanding aquariums and this one ranks up there. You have to take time for the shows and talks in order to appreciate it though.

“Impressive”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 5, 2012

I went with my elderly parents and the facility was easy for them to walk through. We took a couple of hours to tour the various sections. We're not the snorkeling types so this was ideal to view the beauty of the ocean. The blue neon jellyfish tank was serene and beautiful. The tube aquarium was awesome! We were literally surrounded by sharks and manta rays and it was breathtaking.

“Typical aquarium”

Nothing special, except for the part where you walk under the shark tank. If we had our kids with us, it might have been more exciting.
