“Maui Sugar Museum”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 21, 2013

Lew & June visited this museum in Maui; and it was very interesting. It was a small fee and you walk around the museum for all the interesting history of the sugar beginnings. When you drive around Maui; basically all you see is fields of sugar cane; so you might as well learn the history of it.

“A great history lesson that is short and sweet”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 29, 2013

The museum wasn't that big, but it was very informative regarding the sugar cane history of Hawaii. If you have an hour or two before your flight it is a great stop. You get a sample of sugar on the way out

“Interesting, but not a must-see”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 4, 2013

The history and artifacts are interesting, and it's a decent one-hour sidetrip for a family. If you're there for the full Maui experience, then this is worthwhile.

“Very Interesting”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 30, 2013

If you have the time, make this a stop on your trip to Maui. It is very informative and doesn't take a lot of time or money (only $7 admission). Sugar production is the heart of Hawaii and its history is very interesting.

“Interesting look at a part of history”

We enjoyed the self guided tour. The short film was very informative. Would really liked to have had some sugar products to taste or buy especially some molasses but overall we enjoyed this stop!
