Read about this place online and in numerous travel books, so we decided to swing by when we were in the area. Turns out, we probably would have driven out of our way if we had the time to come back! We came for a late lunch (like 3 pm) so it wasn't crowded. Our table split 2 flatbreads, the BBQ chicken and the teriyaki beef. They were superb! Very delicious. I couldn't decide which one was better. It just depended on which one I was eating at the time. The BBQ chicken had the standard toppings on it, but it definitely tasted A LOT better than BBQ chicken pizzas you are used to. The teriyaki had beef, broccoli, onions, sesame seeds, and a soy sauce to substitute as tomato sauce.
They also use a lot of local and fresh ingredients too. You can watch them cook the flatbreads in the oven while you wait (though we didn't wait long for our food). The flatbreads are great for sharing because you get more variety. I think it would be tough to eat a full one by yourself, but getting 2 flatbreads was just perfect for the 3 in our party.
We also got dessert-a chocolate brownie with ice cream and a strawberry topped poundcake and both were excellent as well.
The service was attentive, sat by the window and people watched in Paia. All in all, a great meal!
