Fresh. Flavorful. Relatively affordable (for Hawaii). The perfect starting meal for a week in Maui. We even saw a chef from another restaurant eating there.
We had eaten there before, and the lunch was good a couple of years back. The dinner we had there early on a Saturday evening was just plain amazing.
We had a Greek Salad and Ahi Tacos. The Greek salad was incredibly fresh, clearly reflective of the excellent local produce (with the probable exception of the Kalamata olives -- there were only 3 in the salad. But the rest was soooooo good, we assumed that the Kalamatas came from the mainland)
The Ahi Tacos were perfectly cooked, juicy, just spicy enough. The guacamole puts anything made in California to shame.
The service was attentive. The athmosphere on the inside was fun, without being too noisy (we could still talk in an almost normal volume).
