“Gotta get the fish sandwich and fries!”
Reviewed April 23, 2014

Lunch and Dinner. Great fresh fish sandwiches (the mahi mahi and ono sandwiches are stellar). The fries are perfect every time too. Salads are fresh and good portions too. We like to grab our order To Go and head 5 min down the road to Ho’okipa Beach Park to watch the kite boarders, windsurfers and surfers. Or stay in the restaurant (which is almost always humming with business and happy customers) and share a table with fellow travelers or locals and enjoy stories of their day out on the water. Afterwards, you can check out the fun and funky north shore town of Paia with its boutiques and throngs of water sport athletes from all over the world.

“Great fish tacos”
Reviewed April 21, 2014

Stopped here for a late lunch after spending the day exploring Twin Falls on the road to Hana. The fish tacos were excellent and I really enjoyed the art they had on the walls and hanging from the ceiling.

“Very different place which we just loved!!!”
Reviewed April 19, 2014

Very different concept which saves you some $. Long picnic tables with no waiter, you go in line and place your order and when they call your number, you get your own dish from the kitchen counter. You will sit with other parties at your table and when finished, you bring your dirty plates to the appropraite location. The dishes are very generous portions. They serve dishes for vegetarian and also for people that do not like fish. We both had fish and absolutely loved it, so fresh but we honestly could have split one dish between the two of us, big piece of fish…If you go through Paia, give it a try it is really worth it.

“Excellent food and vibe”
Reviewed April 19, 2014

The Paia Fish Market, is a very low key place, with a fantastic vibe and some of the best fish I've tasted. We went there twice on a 11-day stay at Maui, and it is a formidable alternative to ever popular mamas fish house, though the two should not be compared. It's cheap (fish depends on market pricing),very cozy and the food is great. There's not real service as such as you simply order and collect at the desk but that just adds to the mellow vibe. If there, try the Ahi cajun charbroiled, that's amazing. Definitely worth a couple of stopovers if you're on Maui.

“Onolicious”
Reviewed April 15, 2014

If you can find parking, stop and wait in line for communal seating. Best value on Maui and always jammed. Everything is good, but I prefer the Ono burger.
