We ate here because most places were closed for the holiday. My Fish Tacos were overcooked, tasteless and dry for $18. My Husband had the Pulled Pork Tacos that were just okay but he wouldn't order them again. Table was sticky.

We were a walk in table at the end of the night...this place was packed,,,,we had had lovely lattes earlier in the week on our way to several hikes so wanted to try the food...we did not know that we could just walk in and sit down and no one else waiting at the door seemed to know this either...none of the staff came over to tell anyone either..which wasn't friendly but to be fair they were wildly busy..we just finally sat down and then although we waited a bit for a menu everything was great

You have to remember this is a very small restaurant on Maui time and take a deep breath and then it is all great... the beer list is good...the wine list for a little place was decent...but the food was great, good portions and fun....the crispy duck fajitas are amazing and are highly recommended. We will be back for them...my husband had the burger and it was really good and handcrafted....our appetizer was a hot plate of a seafood medley with mussels and clams and fish...I forget the name now but it was awesome

Our server was nice and efficient and we really had a great evening...

Do not be afraid to just go in and sit down

And have a latte in the morning...the breakfasts look good too

Cafe Mambo is a casual eating place with long hours and a good menu. It was one of our favorite dinners while in Paia. A young crowd with interesting people. Ample portions and just delicious!

I think I kept going back because of their Oahu smoothie. But, the food is good. I had cinnamon French toast for breakfast, crispy duck burger for lunch, and sesame nori tofu fajita for dinner. All were pretty tasty. Friendly service, happy hour between 3 & 6.

We stopped here on a recommendation before heading to Paia beach. The Crispy Duck and Kalua Pork burgers were really good!
