“Homemade food made fast.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 18, 2011

If you're driving the road to Hana I recommend getting your picnic lunch for the family here. Friendly staff with a wide variety of meals for selection. Our sandwiches, chips, cookies, and pineapple made for a wonderful picnic along our Hana route.

“DON'T go here!! Terrible Service, Costco food!”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 11, 2011

I've visited several times throughout my life when I had smoothie cravings...and I'll never go again... Rude, rude, rude service everytime. As if the girls are irritated that there are actual customers who may come in to the shop. Old fruit in the smoothies. Smoothies not blended enough but you only find that out later when youve already left. Sandwiches made from all costco food and jacked up prices way too high for taht. You may as well save yourself the money and go to costco and pack your own Hana picnic lunch! Topmost complaint is the very rude girls who work there who have never been nice.

“Last place to get sandwiches on way to HANA”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 16, 2010

Frommers got it wrong - this is the last place to get a sandwich. Stop and get one. Very good. Cookie, chips and sandwich were $9.50. What can you goof on a sandwich? It was tasty and we had to go back 5 miles to this place to get the sandwich.

“A tour guide who also sells a great lunch”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 23, 2010

April 13 2010. We were heading to do the road to hana. Lots of local brochures recommend stopping here to pick up lunch. WE could have easily made our own, but we decided to take the recommendation and do as suggested.
The young woman who took care of us is as much a tour guide as a maker of lunch. She was entertaining and extraordinarily knowledgeable. She recommended a CD based guide of the trip by a local, for $20.00 which was worth every dime and more.
We also got an excellent lunch for a very reasonable cost.
This place is on the left hand side of the highway, at the major light in Paia, right next to the Chevron station. It is a tiny little place. You may want to park on your side of the road and walk across because getting out of their parking lot and back onto the highway is a little tricky, BUT don't let this put you off.
It is all about quality and service and these folks do both in SPADES. This stop started a great day long experience for us.
