Beautiful old estate that has a wide range of working artists' studios, a gallery, and a great little gift shop. We enjoyed strolling the grounds, snapping photos of some beautiful plantings, and snooping in on some of the studios. Although the gallery was closed, the room that covers the history of the place was very interesting. Outside, there is a striking twig-built installation by Patrick Dougherty. Active or budding artists, or arts lovers or supporters, will find this place inspiring and well worth a visit.

This wonderful arts center caters to creative people working in all media. Offering everything from digital photography workshops to clay throwing, and a lot more! "The Hui" (as folks here refer to it) frequently has thematic shows that feature the eclectic works of resident artists, and the Center's delightful gift shop is all that you would expect, and more.

Perhaps one of the most interesting things about The Hui is its main building, a lovely old mansion, formerly the home of various Baldwins, a family with roots in the early Christian Missionaries who arrived on the Island in the first half of the 19th century.
