This was a great place to stay and will definite book here again if I get the opportunity to return. Had an ocean view on the 9th floor. All staff was friendly and helpful. I felt right at home. Beach very accessible. A bit away from other resorts so feeling of more privacy. Pools are small, but you've got the whole ocean just steps away. Food in the hotel was good, too. Booking included the breakfast buffet - which we enjoyed everyday. Plenty of variety - fresh fruit and the sweetest orange juice I've ever tasted. Had dinner two nights reasonably priced and steak was cooked to perfection. The on-site store has anything you might have forgotten from home and prices were reasonable. Picked up a few souvenirs from here and a bottle of wine. I give it 5 stars and would recommend for all.

Royal Lahaina was a great resort. Had heard good reviews about it form my friends and it lived putout he standards.
Their Luau is just ok. Over rated i felt. Their beach and food options are great. Greta value to your money. We got to do a variety of activities in Maui– one new thing for me (ziplining) and one new thing for my husband (snorkeling), and many other new things for both of us together.

Loved the hotel/resort! Conveniently located. Nice beach. Room on the smaller side but it worked, great view (partial ocean).Love their happy hour 2-6 pm. Food was ok..used Costco $500 voucher deal which made the trip much more affordable. Great tiki bar very conveniently located. Accommodating staff! Luah was included in our package which we enjoyed! Would definitely come again.

Hotel is on the old side-housekeeping was awful- room had bathroom dirty from previous guest- another day never showed up-- the restaurant is just ok with limited menu but the outside patio looks like it has not been washed down in months- tables are barely wiped down between customers- the pools are small and not heated which in Dec makes them fridgid- the staff is mediocre and not welcoming- this is not even a 3 star-

Room tip: Expensive for what it is

Fantastic location. Hotel rooms fine, everything you need. Pool was freezing cold so didn't use it but beach was fantastic. Recommend happy hour at the beachside bar. Restaurant was good, lovely fresh fish. Trolley bus for outlet stores was good and a short walk along beachfront to Whalers shopping village.
