The Maui Guest House is located a few minutes from downtown Lahaina in a run-down suburban neighborhood. The inside of the home is beautifully decorated, with tile murals on the floor and stained glass doors. The kitchen and living areas were huge and well appointed, and the outdoor pool and seating areas were nice. Breakfast included fresh fruit, muffins, bagels, coffee, juice, cereal, eggs, toast ... best breakfast at any of the B&Bs! We stayed in the Puka Room, the smallest and cheapest at $79 per night. It was tiny - the double bed took up the whole room, and it didn't have a private bath. But for the price, it was very comfortable. The other rooms were larger and much pricier at $149. The friendly owners provided free boogie boards and snorkel gear. Very close to beaches and the whole west Maui resort scene. Gorgeous home and nice owners, but we didn't care for the neighborhood - we prefer something more rural/secluded.
