“Outstanding Value!”
Reviewed January 18, 2014

Cute and Quaint were the words my wife used to describe this great little place. It was perfect for the two of us but would be tough for three or four as it is small. However, the space is utilized very intelligently and the units are incredibly well stocked. Everything works perfectly and we never had to use the AC once as the cross breeze and ceiling fans were excellent. The grounds are beautiful and very well maintained. The staff is wonderful. There is coffee in the Ohana every morning and even continental breakfast on Fridays. The pool and bbq area are small but adequate. The charcoal grill was simple and was a fun throwback. A barefoot walk onto the beach takes literally under one minute. Staying here was fun and gave us a different experience than our usual large resort experience, (at less than half the cost). We will be back!

Room Tip: Choose a ground floor unit on the beach side and you will have perfect access to the pool and Ohana...

We spent one week in November at Napili Village. We were delighted with everything. The room was clean, spacious and had a well-stocked kitchen. The prices were very good - in fact this was the best deal that we found after searching the internet thoroughly. The pool was lovely, as well as the grounds were beautifully kept. We had a nice complimentary breakfast on Friday morning which was fun. The Napil Bay beach was about a one minute walk away. All staff were friendly and helpful. We would highly recommend this place.

We've been to Maui several times and love Napili Bay. Selected this condo complex because it is a 2 minute walk to the beach and a great low price. The resort is an older property made up of individually lwne units so each one is unique. Unfortunately we got a small one bedroom unit but the livingroom had two twin beds rather than a couch and coffee table. There was a window unit AC in thw front room but not in the real bedroom. Our lanai was small without much of a view. My wife left her sunglasses on the lanai table and they were gone in the morning. The grounds are very pretty with a beautiful pool. We ended up leaving early and the staff was very nice and understanding since they could'nt put us in another unit. Great location, just stay away from 14B unless you have 4 in your party and don't plan on spending any time in the room. I think the upstairs units wold be nicer

Room Tip: Make sure you get the details about the room location and how the roomsare configured

I REALLY wanted to love this place. The price and location are what brought me there. Super close to the beach at Napili Bay. The staff was very helpful. Gave us boogie boards and beach chairs to use. The pool was very closeby to our room. But there were problems that will keep me from ever staying here again.
This is a very OLD property, and it's obvious the minute you walk into your room. The rooms are tiny. It's billed as having one bedroom, or divides into one bedroom with king and 2 twins. We got a room that was waaay too small for 4 people (1 adult, and 3 kids.) Tiniest bathroom I have ever seen in any hotel. SInk with NO counter, toilet squeezed next to the shower stall. We stayed there for 2 weeks, and had 3 days when the maid never showed up, and this was not counting her usual announced Wednesdays off. On day 12 we had a mouse running around in our room. NO AC really....just a window unit that the maid will turn off if you are out of your room for even 5 minutes, so you come back to an oven. Laundry room not open after 8pm, and it's $2.50 to do a load and dry it. NO icemakers in the fridge, and no ice machines. Parking around the hotel almost nonexistent. People constantly smoking outside the next door market = super smelly and annoying.

Room Tip: Stay somewhere else on Napili Bay, if you can afford it...

My wife and I go to Maui every year. We stayed in kanapali before and drove to napili to snorkle. This time we stayed at napili village condo which we really enjoyed. The room with full kitchen was really fine. The beach was 75 feet to napili a little farther kahana. Great snorkeling , great food, incredible reasonable cost. We stayed at unit 25, which had good internet access. Very beautiful.

Room Tip: All rooms very similar. Room 25 good internet Wi-Fi.

My wife and I stayed at Napili Village from April 9-15. We have never been to Hawaii and this is a place my wife has always wanted to visit. I just happened to discover Napili Village on the internet and was mostly interested in the price initially because every other place I checked was out of sight. The more I researched this location, the more I became convinced that this place would give us the best value for our money. Well, we could not have been happier. We stayed in room # 8 and had a nice view of the ocean from our balcony. The room was clean and equipped with all the cooking utensils that a person would want. The coffee pot was actually brand new. There were beach chairs availiable and some boogie boards as well on the balcony. The furniture was modest, but clean and comfortable. Our housekeeper, Milise, who has been there 30 years was excellent and a very gracious lady. The grounds were in great shape and there was often someone out there working to keep them looking good. The pool was very clean and well maintained. We never were bothered with noise even though there is a fairly busy road less than 50 feet away. I visited several beaches during our stay and felt that Napili Bay where we stayed was as good as any of them and the water seemed to be more calm and more swimmer friendly than many of the others. If you like golf, Kapalua is right across the street. Excellent proximity to good restaurants and shopping. I would recommend Napili Village to anyone looking for a great place to stay at a reasonable price. We plan to return here next year.

Room Tip: Rooms 7, 7A and 8 offer the best views of the ocean. Book at least three months out, this place sta...

Every time we go to Maui we visit Napili Beach and say to ourselves that we should stay up here somewhere, so this time we did. After some research I found Napili Village and thought it looked like a pretty good deal. It is only a 5 minute walk to Napili Beach and a 10 minute walk along a narrow, busy road with limited sidewalks to Kapalua Beach. So location is pretty nice for the price. To find lodging right on the beach is a lot more money than we choose to spend. Our second floor unit had a limited ocean view but a nice view of the sunsets. We normally stay in condos whenever we travel. We have stayed on all the major Hawaiian Islands and also been to the Caribbean a couple of times. Every unit we have ever rented with a complete kitchen has always had a few cooking items that previous guests have left behind such as spices, seasonings, sugar, etc. Our unit had none of these and to buy them for a few days of cooking seemed pretty expensive so we made do with salt and pepper. The bed spread was very worn and had a stain on it but it appeared clean. The float valve in the toilet made a high pitched noise quite frequently, especially during the night. The unit had beach chairs and a boogie board for us to use and pool/beach towels were available in the laundry room for us to use every day. The pool area was nice even though it had no hot tub and the coffee pot was on every morning down by the pool. They didn't have gas grills down by the pool, they were charcoal. This was the only place we have ever stayed on any of the Hawiian islands or in the Caribbean that didn't have gas grills. Charcoal grills are slow to heat up and hard to clean up so we never grilled our dinner. Generally we grill something up ourselves for dinner at least half the time. This was disappointing! Overall the unit and the facility was clean and neat and had most of the things we have come to expect. The managers were nice and they were helpful. We had maid service everyday which was convenient. The location is close to Lahaina, and Ka'anapali but it is at the far end of the island compared to other locations. I like to scuba dive with a company out of Lahaina so that was convenient but it is a long drive to other parts of the island, especially with traffic. Overall, it is a decent place to stay if you know what to expect.

Room Tip: Second floor rooms on the 'road side' have a limited ocean view and good views of the sunset...
