Love the quiet, low key atmosphere here. And the location is wonderful. Right on the bay - can't ask for much easier access to snorkeling! LOTS of turtles - can walk out to the rocks and just watch them, or jump in the water with them. Lots of fish, too. I have been a bit afraid to venture very far snorkeling in the past, and feel very safe here - venturing more than I have before.
The unit we have, B21, is nice. A bit basic, though has what we need, and is clean. Bedrooms are in the back, though great view from the main living area. Staff is nice, and helpful.
Great location for walking to the grocery store, a little coffe store with quick basic breakfast sandwiches and espresso, the Gazebo is right next door, and the Seahouse & Merrimens are within easy walking distance. The slack key guitar concert right by the Seahouse restaurant is very good, and a great local find.
Suggestions to management - would be nice to have a little pathway, even some stepping stones, on the back lawn for getting to the pool and stairwells. Also, numbering the units on the back so people don't have to peer in to see if they are at the right unit.
We definitely plan to return, and are very happy with this find!

We booked a stay at Napili Point for our whole family through Donna Bender of MauiCalls. The location adjacent to Napili Bay was recommended by our friends who visited with their grandchildren, and it was excellent--five minute walk to Napili Bay, snorkeling (but no beach) directly in front of the hotel. Our grandkids (ages 8, 9, 10, and 11) were in heaven! This is an older property and some of the units are a little tired, but the grounds are well maintained and the staff does a good job. It is not a modern, 5-star condominium with all of the state-of-the-art amenities, but rather a simple lodging in a superb location. We highly recommend Donna Bender.

Mahalo for the review of your November 2013 stay with us. Please note that we constantly work with all of our owners, to upgrade units on a regular basis to improve the experience of every guest.

We agree that the location of our property can’t be beat…with the ocean just steps away from your doorstep!

We hope that you will be able to visit again soon.

We booked a 2-bedroom unit at Napili Point through Donna Bender of MauiCalls. Everything was exactly how Donna described it. We could snorkel right in front of our condo and walk the little trail to a great café right on the ocean. Everything in the condo was excellent except they need to put blackout shades on the front bedroom and cover the side window of the Master for more privacy. We left those suggestions for the management. We loved being out of the hectic areas of Lahaina and going back to our quiet condo by the sea. There are many wonderful restaurants close by. There is no restaurant on site. We would definitely stay here again.

Room Tip: We had a corner room all on one level that worked really well for my mobility challenged spouse.

Just returned from a week long stay at Napili Point Resort with family and friends. The location of this resort does not get any better! We had the time of our lives and could have stayed forever! We rented a 2 bedroom oceanfront which slept two families, and our friends rented a 1 bedroom oceanfront for their family. The room we stayed in was room C-11 (2 bedroom) and it was nicely decorated and clean! The kitchen was updated and very well stocked with everything we needed. The unit was also loaded with supplies for the beach (beach chairs, pool noodles, cooler, ice packs, umbrella, and binoculars). The balcony overlooks the pool and the ocean.. you can sit on the balcony during whale season and see the whales! It's spectacular! Overlooking the pool was beneficial for us when the kids (8, 9 and 12 yrs old) wanted to swim in the pool so we could oversee them from our balcony if we did not feel like sitting by the pool... And the pool was never really crowded so we did not have a lot of noise from it. Both bedrooms in this unit have comfortable king size beds, which was very nice for the adults since some rooms have two twins. There is also a pull out queen size sofa sleeper in the living room, it was fine for our kids, but probably not the most comfortable choice for adults. The upstairs bedroom (which is an open loft to downstairs) has the amazing view of the ocean, and the sounds of the waves if you leave the balcony slider door open. The downstairs bedroom is more private, which is a plus when traveling with kids, but does not have the view or sounds of the ocean. Both rooms have their own bathroom; the downstairs bathroom in the bedroom is the only one downstairs so is shared with guests visiting or those sleeping on the pull out couch.
The second unit that our friends rented was room A-10. This is the one bedroom oceanfront and the view is amazing! It is literally on the ocean! The room was not updated and a little more run down. It also was not as loaded with the extras that we had in C-11. However, when we walked down to their room we never cared about the inside - the attraction of this room is the incredible view of the ocean.. We spent most of our time on their lanai enjoying the most amazing sunsets, views and sounds of the ocean. The out-dated kitchen and decor did not matter to any of us! The king size bed was comfortable and the pull out sofa was fine for their teenage girls.
We spent most days either snorkeling in the bay which is just steps outside of the one bedroom unit and loaded with sea turtles and fish! We rented our snorkel equipment for a reasonable price for the week at Snorkel Bobs around the corner. We also took the quick 5 minute walk over to napili beach every day and swam in the ocean.
Close by dining- I Highly recommend breakfast at The Gazebo, which is famous for their breakfast fried rice .. It is delicious and can feed an army! We also had happy hour and lunch a few times at The Sea House - both places a few minutes walk from the resort and right on Napili beach. We also ate at Merrimans, which has spectacular views and incredible food (reservations recommended for dinner), this is a little further of a walk around the point along the beach, or a quick drive. You can also find a lot of great dining driving into Lahaina, we never had a bad meal during our stay!
We booked a champagne sunset cruise, a whale watching tour and a helicopter tour- all amazing and recommended. You will not be disappointed booking at Napili Point Resort! We are definitely coming back!!! Aloha and mahalo!

We were a family of 5 and stayed comfortably in unit C40. The place is neat and has all the ameneties you could want. The view was amazing. We liked the ability to use as a base. Our favorite beach when we werent snorkeling with the turtles was DT Fleming less than 2 minutes down the road - boogie boarding was great. They give you a beach towel while not great does the job for your stay. The daily maid service was a great perk too.

My wife and I stayed in suite A1. The perfect room. All the amenities were there, clean, comfy bed, kitchen fine, service fine.
Best of all though....The ocean waves break on the lava rocks and tide pools 75 feet in front of the room. We really enjoyed being at that level. the higher rooms are no doubt lovely but we felt like we were in our own private cabin on the beach. There is a public walkway between the room and the beach but we were not at all bothered by the occasional passersby.
Swam with the turtles in the bay to the south! Sandy beach (Napili Bay) to the north is lovely.
Wednesday evening at Slack Key Guitar show at Napili Ki Hotes was worth the trip to Maui by itself.

Mahalo for your comments and taking the time to send in this review.

We are so pleased that you enjoyed your stay with us. It is an amazing location on Honokeana Bay (best snorkeling with the Hawaiian green sea turtles), and our incredible views of the islands of Molokai and Lanai, and our close proximity to Napili Bay makes our property unique and very special!

It was great to hear that the location and quality of your unit was exactly what you wanted – we have forwarded your nice comments regarding the unit, to the owners.

We were happy that you were able catch an evening with George Kahumoko’s Jr.’s, Slack Key Show, here in Napili – it is one of the best shows on the island!

We hope to see you again soon – mahalo,

Private - not on the main walking thoroughfare
Pristine view of the ocean, crashing surf, surfers and snorkeling cove (where you can snorkel with the green turtles) AND beautiful sunsets. Also, there is a pool close by and a large white sand beach about 100 yds walk away.
Unit is the perfect size for a couple, is beautifully decorated, has a comfortable bed and living room furniture and the kitchen is thoroughly stocked with any pot, bowl or accoutrement you could want. Eat on the private patio or inside. It truly looks like the home and view you would want to have on Maui.
