“Perfect location”
Reviewed November 20, 2012

We've stayed here a couple of times and really like the location which is, in our opinion, the best part of the island. The resort is very well maintained with convenient parking. Our unit was small but perfect for two people. The views are spectacular and we loved sitting on the lanai watching the sunsets. It's nice to be so close to the beach as well as restaurants, golf, shopping, etc. We will be back!

Perfect location, delightful accommodations, excellent staycation! We really enjoyed our 5 night stay at this resort. The king size bed with a very good quality foam mattress was very comfortable giving us a great nights sleep while listening to the ocean outside our door. There are 2 very comfortable couches in the studio as well giving you plenty of room to stretch out and relax. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the small appliances you could want. Having a full kitchen helped us keep the cost of a staycation down. We enjoyed our coffee and breakfast on the lanai enjoying the sounds of the ocean and the fantastic view. This has become our new favorite staycation location. Being local we were able to invite some friends over to enjoy the beach and a barbeque on the Weber grills provided by the resort. Sunsets are outstanding from the beach or the lanai. You could not ask for anything more...

Stayed in unit #210 Oct 2012,one unit back from the beach. Perfect location - loved being right at the beach, but preferred the privacy of the corner unit as opposed to those right at the sand. Unit was well equipped, and though no A/C, the fans did a pretty good job. Great snorkeling, lots of turtles and beautiful sunsets from the Lanai. Would certainly stay there again!

We stayed here for our honeymoon in Condo 201, literally steps from the beach. At night the sound of waves on the beach come through the windows, during day you can go boogie boarding with provided boards and sit under palm trees and snorkel in Napili Bay.

Napili Bay is far to the northwest of the island, which is more relaxed (and family friendly) than Ka'anapali Beach. There are many shopping centers nearby and you are close to Ka'anapali and Lahaina, but far away from the high-rise resorts. Also, where else can you snorkel with a bale of turtles?

The unit is small - it is a studio with queen bed, couch and kitchenette. The lanai is perfect for sunset drinks and relaxing. For two people it was the perfect size, as we were rarely home.

We stayed at this condo for 2 nights before moving to Westin Ocean Resort Villages for a 1 week stay. First, I have to say this condo is everything advertised. It is 30 seconds to the beach, the sunsets on the lanai with a cocktail, pupus and/or dinner are better than any $$$ restaurant. The inside is immaculate and remodeled. The place even had boogie boards, beach chairs, insulated coolers and even frozen ice packs for the coolers!

Comparing it to the Westin is like comparing apples and oranges. This place is what we called "old Maui"--it's not brand new with a huge carbon footprint and uniformed attendants, but nicely remodeled and maintained (the Westin is nice in other ways--another reivew...). There was character and friendly folks here. Lots of parking. The "kitchenette" is really a full kitchen--full size fridge (nice one!)/sink/stove etc.). For some, something to think about: There is no pool, Jacuzzi, etc. The crashing waves just a few feet from your door may keep you up at night (or lull you to sleep!). This is an incredible beach-and you are right on it....and you may share with others during the day (although you have your own lanai!). We would go back in a minute and spend more than 2 nights.

Room Tip: We stayed in unit 107.

Only 5 nights was not enough. I could have stayed a month in this beautiful place. Water warm and clear with turtles and multicolored fish. It was a dream land. The people were friendly and courtieous. The entire area was perfect. Close to shopping and grocery store. Just a short drive to any number of golf courses, dining out, or just a leasurely drive through the mountains or countryside.

Room Tip: Only complaint here was the humidity and there wasn't air conditioning. We only had 2 fans in th...

An end unit, with a nice view as a result. Set up for 2 people only. Everything worked ... kitchen appliances; ceiling fans, shower, etc. Room and complex were in very very good condition. I think there's a maintenance guy there most days, keeping everything ship-shape. Right on the beach; you are 40 feet from the surf, so you better like to sleep with the sound of crashing waves. Napili Bay is very pretty, though due to a steep beach, not ideal for unsupervised kids under 10 or 12. Snorkeling is pretty good but the water can be cloudy depending on the day. Turtles were around, sometimes a few feet off the beach. You're on the south end of Napili Bay, so it's a LONG walk on the beach and through Napili Kai to get to Kapalua Beach (better snorkeling, calmer water). There's a Snorkel Bob's and a small general store within a 5 minute walk and nice restaurants within a 5 or 10 minute walk up the beach. Honolua Bay (best snorkeling) is 10 minutes away, and Lahaina (best tourist town) is 15 minutes away. There's a nice shade tree right on front that offers shade all day. For much less than Napili Kai, it's a good bargain.

Room Tip: 201 and 209 are end units, second floor, so you only share a wall with one other room, but we never...
