This beach was such an amazing find! We were staying right down the road at the Hyatt and took a quick trip to this beach. It is a bit rainy up here, but that didn't stop us from buying some snorkel equipment and hopping in.
We snorkeled for about 30 minutes searching for sea turtles. With no luck, we headed to the shore - then we saw a 4 feet long turtle!!! It was absolutely amazing. We then went back out and saw a few more turtles swimming around. It was a beautiful beach.
There is also a place for lunch right up the road that we really liked.
This was a nice beach with no rocks. A bit crowded but plenty of space for six chicks to set up beach chairs and stuff. We took tubes to float, all was great. You have to go through Kapalua to get there but not a big deal. We were there a bit later in the morning so it was easier to find a parking place.
Napili Beach is ideal for snorkelling and you'll be sure to see plenty of fish on a good clear day. We've spent many a happy day here and the last time we came there were plenty of green turtles about. Just make sure you give them plenty of room whilst they're feeding! If you can't park on the road down to the beach, park up safely on the main road on the side of the road away from traffic or access points that are clearly marked and walk down. There are showers to wash off sand but no toilets. At times it can get crowded but it never feels that you're cramped. There's shade to sit in and one can wander up the beach to body surf away from the rocky area / coral too. One of our favourite beaches on the island. Pick up snacks from the local Napili stores for lunch or a picnic on the beach.
You can snorkel, boogie board, paddle board, or just relax on the beach. There is a restaurant called Sea House Restaurant right on the beach with good food and happy hour specials. The sunset view is magnificent!
Really pretty beach, use the public access the resorts at this bay are on watch! It has really easy access to snorkel on the right side of the bay- beautiful along the coast/rocks!
This beach has something for everyone. The reefs offer an amazing array of fish (something new every day) and the central sandy area is great for kids. Definitely our favorite beach in Maui!
