“Fun beach”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 9, 2014

This was a fun beach. Its a small bay with snorkeling along the rocks on each side, one side having more turtles and the other side fish. Also saw several large stingrays. At the time we were there it was being recommended as one of the best places to snorkel, not sure if that changes. The beach itself is small and gets crowded. The waves were crazy in the middle of the beach. The water would come in and then hump up into a huge wave as it neared shore, very odd. Boogie borders loving it and surfing right up onto the sand. The undertow was strong though, difficult for elderly or very young. I can't really say how to get here, its on the map but kind of hard to find, a local pointed us in the right direction. Limited parking on the street and then you have to walk through a resort to get to the beach. No facilities for beach goers to use.

“Our favorite beach in Maui”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 3, 2014

We went to five beaches in Maui, and Napili was easily our favorite. Finding it is a little tricky, but we went before 9 AM and found parking immediately across from beach access on Hui Street multiple times. To find Hui, watch for Napili Village and Napili Sunset signs; there is no sign for the actual beach. When you're facing the beach, the area to the left had very small waves and was great for little kids and swimming. We noticed people snorkeling on that side as well, and the black rocks on that side are easy for climbing and seeing small sea creatures up close. On the right hand side, the waves get bigger, and we found better boogie boarding there than on any of the other beaches. The waves carry you up the incline of the beach, and the bottom is sandy, so there aren't any rocks to hit or stumble on. There's a place in Napili Village that will rent paddle boards, boogie boards, snorkel stuff, etc. for reasonable prices. The sand is a little deep for walking, and the shower area is sandy, so you end up leaving with sandy feet, but I always expect to drag some sand home with me from the beach. Last thing - catching the sunset here was lovely!

“Love this beach!”

We always eat breakfast at the SeaHouse (YUMMY) and then spend the day on the beautiful beach. Great snorkeling too! We usually see sea turtles in the reefs here in the summer.

“Great snorkeling, clean and not crowded! ”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 30, 2014 via mobile

We went to snorkel at about 4pm and were able to snag one of the free parking spots for beach goers. Snorkeling was great, water was beautiful and the reefs had lots of sea life close to shore.
